I guess July 3 is Independence Day for the Egyptians.
Rush just said that many conservatives stayed home in the 2012 election because the GOP had made it clear we weren’t welcome. Do you think that’s true, fellow FReepers? I voted because I saw it as our last chance to stop The Kenyan from destroying America. I’d have voted for a petunia to accomplish that.
Yep, he’ really on fire today.
There are millions of people in the streets in Egypt, and where are we?
You’re welcome, Onyx. It’s my privilege.
Thanks for the ping Matchett-PI!
What did he say??
It all started with revealing the “porkulus” of the government at FR
I’m not sure if that word was first used here, but sure was descriptive!

I was listening to Rush’s summary about the formation of the TEA party, and his memory is severely hindered on this one. I enjoyed his mentioning of FR, however that wasn’t the birth of the TEA party that brought 2010.
The match that lit the fire was the money expert on some news show, well he went off on some rant against all the crap the government is doing, from Bush’s bail-outs to Obama’s budgets and other actions. He was on quite a roll and wrapped it up with “we’re TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY!”
Immediately after, the grass roots started organizing all over the place for anti-whatever rallies. It came to fruition as anti-obamacare.....

I do think that many did stay home precisely because of the GOP. However, I voted simply because it was the final chance to get rid of Obamacare and get posession of my physical being out of the hands of the feds.
The GOP lost that chance and I will never do it again. If there is not a conservative on the R ticket, they don’t get my vote. Since we lost the chance to reverse Obamacare, the difference between a progressive D or a progressive R is irrelevant.
How did you find FR?
Many from this site as well.
I knew a brilliant FRiend would remember that! Thanks for the link and the name.
No, wait, it's just me, the DuFarge broad...
You're most welcome, though; it was fun listening to him again!
Stay home in the ‘12 elections? No, and HELL no!
However, I’m still extremely...curious is a good word right now...about the way our votes got counted over in Billings, and between that, the military ballots that got delayed, “lost” or burned up in mysterious plane crashes and the absolutely blatant fraud that finally got reported in Ohio and Pennsylvania....I remain to be convinced that the whole election in 2012 wasn’t the worst case of organized and premeditated election fraud in history.
Thank you very much, American Quilter!! Go, RushBo!!
The Executive Branch cannot unilaterally decide to not execute against an approved Congressional appropriation. That is a violation of the Congressional Budget and Impoundment Act of 1974. I would love to see some conservative group go to court to force execution in accordance with the Congressional intent.
I checked out Allen Bros meats awhile ago and from what I recall it was VERY expensive. I didn’t even want to spend the money to celebrate paying off my house. I just can’t imagine that it would have been THAT much better than other meats.
By the time the court ruled it would probably be past the election.
And Boner would have to grow a pair.
OT
Don’t ask me how. I broke the foot pedal thing on my brand new Miele upright that makes it bend over. Can that be fixed?
