The Egyptian Military just made a publc statement on Egyptian TV and it appears the country is close to another military coup:

In other words, do as the people want, calm this down now, or we will step in within 48 hours.

And now you see the visual evidence as to why the corrupt MSM is silent on a national protest of 17 million people!

Score another victory for that Nobel prize winner, Obama. Were it not for the continued propping up by the corrupt MSM this loser would have been sent packing.

A complete and utter disaster, not only for America, but for the rest of the world. A plague.

since Morisi and the radical islamic MB sacked all the generals and replaced them with his stooges, a tactic used and implemented by obama btw, then this sounds like a full on Morsi dictatorship putsch

My friends still in Egypt (from when I had done some contract work there) told me this was another story the MSM pretty much missed or ignored. Morsi and company did attempt to sack and replace most all field-grade officers and the General Staff and was quietly told 'that is not going to happen' by the military. They did manage to replace a few officers, but it was not the full-on mass replacement the Islamists were hoping for.

What you say about democracy and Islamic culture also holds true for democracy and Hispanic culture. Probably a residual effect of 700 years of Islamic rule in Spain. Think of the terms ‘alcalde’ ‘caudillo’ and ‘caliph’. Both cultures are dominated politically by the willingness, almost the need, for the people to follow a strong man.

Don’t they have large numbers still in crates unassembled? And the M1A1 is still a first rate tank, especially if you have a lot of them, and especially if they are already in theater.

Hope you are correct.

Unfortunately obama is successful in sacking Generals and replacing them with his goons.

Morsi purged the military, I doubt they will act against him.

Mubarak supporters and the people that removed Mubarak from power working together to bring down Morisi and no comment from Obama

And after he is overthrown Obama will grant him asylum in the US...

You are more correct than you know regarding the effects of 700+ years of Islamic rule in Spain. This excerpt from Carroll Quigley's Tragedy and Hope will make an astonishing amount of sense:

The Pakistani-Peruvian axis

50 years of careful US diplomacy in that part of the world have been destroyed in 4 years by this man-boy.

Yes. I thought it was worth repeating. Excellent analysis.

Hopefully 0 is busy trying to sell homosexuality or ‘motor voter’ laws to another Afercan ****-hole.
If he reads about this in the newspaper tomorrow, you know he’ll be on the phone to Juan to talk about parachuting American troops right into the middle of this African killerbee hive.

I try not to count CNN as main stream media. Nobody watches them.

They’re too busy covering Zero’s $100 million African vacation, replete with that “moment of reflection” in Nelson Mandela’s old prison cell. BTW, the BBC is describing today’s protests in Egypt as the largest in history, with hundreds of thousands gathered at multiple locations around the country. Meanwhile, CNN is dismissing the protests—and threats of a coup—as nothing more than a minor, internal matter. Wouldn’t want anything to knock Barry and Michelle’s excellent adventure off the front page.

Hobama doesn’t have a clue and what’s worse, his advisers are equally clueless. Readers will note that SecState Kerry was trumpeting his “breakthrough” on the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks last night, as Egypt tottered on the brink of total chaos. At this point, I’m sure someone in the White House political office is scouring YouTube for a video that can be blamed for the current crisis in Egypt.

One more thing: one banner has been prominently featured at the various demonstrations in Egypt; it’s the picture of the Dear Leader, with the title “Obama Supports Terrorism” in Arabic and English. Any bets as to the number of times that banner shows up on a US network—other than Fox News?

Look for next-door Israel to be on high alert.

Why, exactly, do you think the Egyptian military leaders are making these statements? There is more going on here than meets the casual eye...

Welll, Pinochet, I don’t think so. Unless you want your neighborhood surrounded by army in the middle of the night and all adult males pulled out of their homes for impromptu interrogation.

Just saying there might be other routes to ending our national nightmare.

For instance, are Egyptians just better organizers than we are? How did they get the numbers of protesters we see? Imagine that on the Mall.

Where is the MSM? They were all over this when it was Mubarak. Our media is covering for TERRORISTS!

The media take Soros' money they do his bidding. I'll bet he is making money out of this some how some way. Oil futures, gold futures, cotton futures...some way.

They will if Egypt's continued existence as a viable nation is at stake...

Libyan intelligence directly links Morsi to the Benghazi atrocity. Maybe that’s why State is so quiet. MSM, on the other hand, is just waiting for orders from the White House on how to deal with this. Baraq is out of town. Is Val home?
