Anti-government protesters set the national headquarters of the ruling Muslim Brotherhood ablaze after throwing petrol bombs and exchanging gunfire with guards.
Brotherhood spokesman Gehad El-Haddad said he was in contact by telephone with staff at the compound on a rocky plateau overlooking Cairo, who told him its fortified perimeter had not been penetrated. A Reuters journalist saw flames licking out of upper-storey windows.

That avenue stretched for miles. All day, and all night:
...and where did it lead?
To this:
Also all day and all night.
Yep...it was "hundreds" alright, MSM. Actually many millions.

There is an old Arab saying, choose your enemies carefully for you will become them.

I cant believe that people are falling for the liberal spin again. The vast majority of Egyptians are radical Islamists who want an Iran-like regime to rule over themhence the events of 2011. If they are rioting to get Morsi out, they want someone worse in. The Islamists are the best-organized out of anyone in Egypt.
Just look at the radicals that are behind Tamarod: Kefaya (supporters of the Second Intifada and heavily Nasseristremember, Nasser was a National Socialist), Egypt Islamic Jihad, Strong Egypt (started by the MB), and even the National Salvation Front (anti-Israel former IAEA head El-Baradei affiliated with that, as well as people like Hamdeen Sabahi and many others).

It is sad that Americans wont expend this energy. I seem to remember similar pictures from Tea Party events (one in particular in DC springs to mind).
I don't think it's that Americans won't expend the energy as much as the reporters don't report on it.

The sum of our involvement in the mideast should be as trading partners and allies of Israel. No more fighting muslim wars. No more funding muslim wars, no more arming muslims in muslim wars.

The focus should be only on Israel. Let the Muslims fight among themselves.

I see this blowing up down the road into a civil war in Egypt. Isiah Chapter 19 talks about Egyptians fighting each other.

Women attending theses protests are insane.

There are other issues to take into account as well. Geographically we're far more spread out than the people in Egypt. Also they don't have the same ideological divide between urban and rural people like we do. (the people live where the protests are)

Obama was the first POTUS to use the term “Muslim world” as a de jure recognition of the Caliphate. No other POTUS ever recognized such an entity as legitimate, never mind even existing. Indeed the last thing we should be doing is arming people who believe in that entity as a world-dominating force.

That is not their intent. Once they get reorganized, guess who the focus is going to be on once more.
