Today, July 1st, is DAY #16 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Last week the prosecution feebly presented the first series of witnesses against George Zimmerman. However, as most observers would note, the witnesses called by the state have so far been more beneficial for the Zimmerman Self-Defense position.

ADVICE: Never wave your miranda rights under any circumstance unless advised by legal counsel! And no matter how innocent you maybe the prosecution will and has twisted many people’s innocent statements and made them look guilty. They are NOT on your side. They are NOT trying to get the truth but any statement that they can use to make you look guilty if they “feel” you are guilty.

So Bernie is trying to allege that because he remembered the name Kent Taylor of Leland Management Martin hadn’t beat him badly enough.
West didn’t probe that aspect very much, but the witness said that extreme stress causes physical changes that cannot be faked by an actor, and that sort of stress was present in the recording. Whoever was screaming felt genuine, extreme fear.
That by itself indicates it was the person on the bottom screaming. It also gives direct evidence of the state of mind of one of the two - extreme stress / fear of death. Since the other physical evidence indicates Zimmerman was the only one with a valid reason for any fear, I think it shows Zimmerman’s state of mind at the time of the shooting - and it provides direct evidence that Zimmerman acted legally. The law doesn’t require you to be in certifiable fear of your life, only that you be genuinely afraid of death or severe injury.

I was reading on another thread, or maybe it was earlier on this one - too many threads to parse - that Trayvonn’s father’s girl friend has a close female friend who has a daughter named “Dee Dee”...
And I remember in the months leading up to this trial that all the blog talk was Dee Dee, out the wazoo. Dee Dee on the phone with Trayvonn, Dee Dee’s interview etc etc.
Suddenly, now, no Dee Dee.
So when you write, give Dee Dee a lie detector test, I’m asking, where is this person??

So far, the prosecution witness is making a case for Zimmmerman. Zimmerman offered her two sources to find if there was security video in the complex. A guilty person would not want video, eh?

There’s some exception for family members who are also to be called as witnesses. I forget what the additional exception to that exception is that allows TM’s parents in but GZ’s parents out, maybe it’s reversed when the Defense puts on its case.
The house that he first saw him in front of was Frank Taffe’s where there had been an incident 3 weeks before.
Is this the first time the jurors have heard a non screaming George? His demeanor is impressive.
So Zimmerman is testifying without actually having to testify.

All part of their brilliant prosecution strategy -- call all the defense's witnesses first, then tell the jury that the defense must not have much of a case because they didn't call any witnesses. :-)

I like the commentators there, they seem to be unbiased in the breaks and during lunch recess.
why don’t people just take the time to find out what’s up before the full on attack?
that was painful to watch. especially as I was going through what was posted to see what it was all about. Then the thread got pulled....

I’ve thought of a similar point. People are always ranting that Z was trying to act out like a cop and that he didn’t do what a dispatcher said but took matters into his own hands. I know, I know, he was going back to his vehicle when T jumped him, but I’m just sayin’ what people have ranted.
Well, if Zimmerman was trying to stalk and attack/kill the suspicious person, he would not be on the phone with police dispatch talking to them through the episode.
He would act as a lone wolf and definitely not be talking to those in law enforcement.
So clearly, attacking or killing Trayvonn was NOT his plan. Clearly, he was following the person trying to keep an eye on where he was and what he was up to...
No other conclusion is POSSIBLE.
That would be amazing, like the big shocker at the end of a movie. He definitely has enough of the taped interviews and the in-court testimony to make a decision. There has been some very reasoned debate here about whether or not the two voices are the same.
