Why isn't the District of Corruption representing the AMERICAN CITIZENS before those who illegally invaded our nation?

We don't need no steenkin guest workers...we need Welfare Workers, living in the "poorhouse" at the Town Farm...earning their benefits.

I don't care what color they are, this would round up section 8 drug dealers and prostitutes, welfare queens and the homeless.

They could have an employment office right there on the campus for those who wanted to enter the real job market.

...Heh. For a moment I didn’t know of which you “spoke”.

The reason I am so bemused over the date request is I was widowed just this past April. Goodness I never thought of “dating”, frankly I consider myself entirely too old for such a thing.

Then again I been married to beloved deceased husband for past 25 years so I never much thought about dates. Before that, well I was married four times in total, once I was getting new husband bout every three years. Men were like a bus, so my younger self used to say, miss one and another come right along.

I have no idea the guy’s political affiliation though I suppose at some point, yeah, that would matter very much to me. I could not stomach any sort of liberal so as disappointing as it is to male Obama voters across the nation, do not bother asking me out.

Beyond that, I’m just trying to wrap my head around the concept of going out somewhere with a man.

I just don’t know but it’s moot.

I pretended like it was a joke.

;)

Agreed. Maybe by some miracle, something will happen to affect some type of radical (good) change within the GOP.

I’m not holding my breath...

So called Republican, Mathew Dowd, on This Week, says the majority of Americans support gay marriage. He didn't bother explaining why 37 or 38 states have voted against it. What a fool. Ditto, basically Ted Olson on Face the Nation.

Granted, politically correct guilt (much like white guilt that elected Obeyme) has softened sentiments against homosexuality, but Dowd wants to conflate that into his sweeping statement.

"Marriage" can be nothing other than a union between man and women. For the govt. to endorse anything else hastens the destruction of the family, and eventually the country, and we've had plenty 'nuff hastening in the last 5 years.

she goes on and on about how mean we teabaggers are to begrudge gays love and joy. It works! We fell guilty, we stand back.

Once again, we need to intelligize! Call them what they really are....Predators...Sex Offenders.

Time to throw some 0bama lackies in jail-demonstrate consequences of fidelity to 0bama instead of the US Citizens

That would work for me, but who's going to do that?

I've recently been in that position of dating again. Mine left after 22 years of marriage.

You will feel like a teenager -figuring out what to wear, how to fix your hair, etc. It is a wonderful nervous excitement. Then either the date goes well and you see him again, or it doesn't and you've wasted a few hours and you have a new story to tell. I still say go.

I have maintained for a while that another party is the only answer to gaining representation. But understand the road wouldn’t be easy.

Aside from the work and money of getting such a party recognized in all 50 states (including the inevitable legal challenges from the two major parties), the biggest obstacle to overcome would be the certain attacks (likely all out war) by the establishments’ MSM. If such a party could withstand them, it’s possible.

I used to believe (as some still do) that the only way to protect the Conservative ideology was through the republican party. Now, both parties are about the same in their disdain of Conservatives. Amazing where we are....a plurality of voters are hated by their government.

....how about our ELECTED guys begin the process of tamping down this political correctness?

No, we all have to do it. Write letters, blogs etc...like you do.

THEY are the ones with the pulpits, the public respect.

No they're not...the press ignores them. They only have pulpits at the town meetings...and they damn-well better do what they say or ya take 'em out.

Well I don’t know how old you are, Betty J., but I shall state my age as....well I’m 63. Birthday was last week.

I never much thought about 60 year old somethings ....eh....”dating”...

probably an age prejudice or something, a new beaten political class now that you think about it.

I got to think about this. I got to get daughter moved down here for now.

Now that you think about it....there’s daughter, right across the street, spying on the many men I’m inviting over.

Heh.

“Rush says that?”

I'm not so sure that Rush Limbaugh is STILL saying this. Like a lot of us, our thinking changes over time when it comes to things like this. I would have said the same thing up to a few months ago. MY thinking is changing. After Rubio, and now RYan, I'm not so sure. Perhaps Rush may be having the same thoughts.

Before I go off on Rush, I'm very eager to hear what he has to say in regards to Governor Palin's recent statements.

I'm pretty sure all the 1850's Whigs didn't just get up and join the Republicans in a day or two either.

Go out, but go dutch. That takes the pressure off it being a date....more like two people getting acquainted. Maybe you’ll acquire a new friend....can’t have too many of those.

If Lerner refuses to testify what will Congress do? Hold her in contempt? How did that work out with Eric Holder?

Interesting moment on Face the Nation. Bob Schieffer apparently can't tell those black folks apart. He's looking at NCAAP chair Ben Jealous, and asks " What do you think, Prof. Peterson.....oh, I'm sorry, (shifts his glaze two chairs right) Prof . Peterson, what's....."

It seems he didn't know whom was Prof. Peterson and who was Ben Jealous. Jealous, at least, has some notoriety.

I'd understand if a name was confused, or forgotten, or misspoke, but not this. It came off as Prof. Peterson was just one of those two black guys sitting on that side of the roundtable.

...whatever....

If there is to be a viable 3rd party, it needs to ban-for-life certain individuals to keep them from slithering over to it in a few years.
