If you voted for George H. W. Bush, you were voting for a liberal with an (R) next to his name. Same with Dole, same with George W. Bush, McCain, and Romney. I made the mistake of telling myself some of those folks were not liberals, but eventually I figured out that Conservatives were being played for fools.

A liberal with an (R) next to his name is no better than a liberal with a (D) next to his name. For 20+ years, the GOP has been giving us liberals with (R) next to their name pretending to be Conservatives.

You just keep on voting for those liberals with (R) next to their name, because the Democrats love Republicans like you. Keep on telling yourself that you're making a difference and that after all these years, somehow things will be different with that next liberal Republican. You just keep on maintaining that abusive relationship with the GOP, keep on telling yourself that they'll eventually stop crapping on your conservative principles. They'll never stop crapping all over you, but if it makes you feel better to believe it, then keep telling yourself that.

When a Republican ‘victory’ only means slightly to the left of the Democommies, it is no victory, only a loss by another name. And there comes a time, after repeated losses, that there is nothing left to lose by doing something else.

Don't fail to learn that history is telling us that there are TWO WINGS ( Repub/Dem ) but still only ONE BIRD.

The TRUE CONSERVATIVE point of view is not being represented by either party currently.

No, AMERICANS who didn't consider themselves conservatives along WITH conservatives voting for Ross Perot gave Clinton A PLURALITY. He went into office OPPOSED by well over half of the voters (57 percent)the first term, and got steamrolled with the Republican Revolution, which was a very good thing, and the second term, opposed by 51 percent of the voters, was IMPEACHED. Yes, he was IMPEACHED.

There would have been ZERO Republican Revolution if Clinton had won a majority OR if HW Bush or Dole had won.
