After reports that President Obama called Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) to congratulate him on the passage of the immigration reform bill in the Senate – Rubio did not answer the call – former Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) blasted Rubio:

Your point is well taken but you failed to mentioned that Rubio took tons of money from the Tea Party, and made statements that he would be opposed to amnesty, so he broke his word, he lied to his voters, McCain and Graham did not.
Rubio is finished and you and others will not be able to aid his comeback.
And we know exactly how you would vote.
“Rubio” is what happens to a man who jumps in the deep end, attracting all attention to himself as he does, only to discover he’s in way over his head... cough, sputter, cough... people just shake their heads, muttering, idiot...
Go, Sarah! Thank you for saying what many of us are thinking. Rubio sold the country out for power and influence. I can’t trust him any longer.

On the day my bride and I were married back in 1986, we had a few hours to kill between the wedding and the reception. The entire bridal party (18) had a suite at the local Hilton.
Of course we were drinking, having a good time and as someone turned on the TV, playing on HBO was "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" ... right on that scene.
We laughed hysterically and you just KNOW that we had the DJ play "Tequila" at the reception while we all danced like Pee Wee Herman.
Everyone at the reception (about 300 people) thought we were all completely insane, but we knew what we were doing. To this day when we see one of our friends from our wedding, we still joke about it.

I know that every time we compromise with our principles and vote for one of their RINOs, it moves the GOP further left, which then emboldens them to nominate left-leaning candidates who are progressively more and more liberal, but what are we to do?
