I’m confused. If the victim was six when it happened, and it happened “six years ago”, wouldn’t she be 12 now?

And a worse time to be a unborn baby.
Something is very, very wrong here.
Understand this reasoning, cause here it comes:
1. Parents do many things out of love for their children which the children dislike. Doctor’s shots. Eating brocolli.
2. Children are by law unable to give or refuse legal consent. The child can give no legal consent or refusal to eating broccoli, and the parent has the right to make the child eat broccoli.
3. All stops on the wide spectrum of human sexuality are good. Or rather, there is no stop on the spectrum of human sexuality deserving admonishment or condemnation.
4. A father engaging in sexual activity with his six year old daughter is not offensive. The child may in fact enjoy it. Even if the child doesn’t enjoy it, the parent retains the right and obligation to act in loving ways with the child. Sex-offender laws and labels are wrong.
This article is completely confusing. Is this daughter the same daughter he raped? I can hardly believe he’d regain custody in those circumstances. What about the half-brother? It sounds like the person took all of 5 minutes to write this short piece, which raises only more questions in my mind.
