Today, June 28th, is DAY #15 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. [Yesterday] it was simply not a very good day at all for the prosecution. The primary State witnesses today were Rachel Jeantel, Jenna Lauer, and Selma Mora.
The first had her credibility substantively destroyed, the second was powerfullyalmost humiliatinglyco-opted by the defense, and the third provided testimony entirely consistent with the defenses theory of lawful self-defense. (continue reading)

The talking heads on HLN are having a melt down. Silly woman claims “there is still manslaughter on table”
The Defense just has to hold up that picture of Zimmerman’s broken, bloody nose once again. I’m shocked the judge has allowed that picture as evidence.
My take on that is that he was trying to save face, it was definite compensation activity..
Maybe I'm different but I can't see myself just walking away like John Good, without acting to break things up.
The state is trying to say that this witness may have seen Martin on top of him with his arms moving downward as if he is hitting him but he can’t say that he saw any of the blows connect to the face.
And though he heard the guy on the bottom crying out for help he can’t be 100% sure because he didn’t see his mouth.
Such an incompetent judge. . .even for a kangaroo court.
Such obvious bias. . .and nasty temperament towards the defense.
Someone had the idea that perhaps she is acting with such incompetence in order to lay blame elsewhere. . .meaning she is making so many reversible errors that when a guilty verdict happens then the conviction would be over-turned on appeal. . .so, UGLY (in body and soul) coward that she is, she will say to the race-haters, ‘hey, not me, he was convicted in my court.’
Such a political stunt this trial. I feel sorry for the future innocent victims of the upcoming riots if GZ is let go. However, the ruling class of the state of Florida set this up, mostly Republicans BTW. When the state puts the interests of the savages first we all reap the whirlwind.
Is a finding of manslaughter even an option?
good question
I’ve been missing the trial today. What’s the summary of what has happened so far?
Do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth???
Anyone know the background of the analyst on WFTV. I certainly disagree with many of his assessments. He seems quite pro-prosecution.
“maybe. i get them confused. sorry.”
No problem. It’s just that I think O’Mara is a much better attorney than West in this case. He’s pleasant and charming and seems to put the state’s witnesses at ease. As a result, they seem to end up helping the defense. lol
I wish Dee Dee...(Rachel)... had O’Mara instead of West. He would have gotten the whole truth out of her.
Don’t think they should go after DD. she’s young , challenged and sensitive enough to not want to hurt a mothers feelings. Want to go after prosecution for using her and putting her in a worse position then just being in the wrong spot at the wrong time.
And they are discounting the fact that he testified that TM was on top of GZ, wailing away.

He’s definitely pro-prosecution (and likely a lib); he’s always grasping at ANYTHING he can imagine may be a “straw” for the prosecution to grab while they’re drowning.
You’re welcome. It’s not perfect but it gives a sense of the goings on in the courtroom.
He’s a Democrat. Nuff said.
I think the ghetto mentality can handle it that George was getting beat up.
What they don’t get, some of them, is that George did have the right to shoot TM in that situation.
We are having a severe ammo shortage right now. There are two groups exacerbating the issue. We know the government is one of them and we know who the other group is.
Holder’s people may want to think about that before they search for more Reginald Dennys. And the country has changed since then.
