If it actually happened that Mr. Zimmerman did murder Mr. Martin, and wasn’t simply shooting in self-defense, it is a sad irony that the witness will have done a tremendous disservice to the family of Mr. Martin, because she will have damaged the prosecution’s case due to her lack of credibility from lying under oath.

Summing up my basic,general opinion of this case...Zimmerman very probably will wind up paying an unjust price for all this (the Feds will surely get him if Florida doesn't) but one thing's for certain....a young,filthy,illiterate punk,a punk who very probably would have wound up on death row if he had reached 21,will never bother anyone for the rest of time.And as for the father calling a Zimmerman supporter a “motherbleeper”,pal,maybe if you had done more than just bleeped *his* mother 18 years ago...like maybe taught *him* how not to wind up like Tupac...he'd probably be alive today.

I agree- why all the concern about black rioting? A few thugs will stir up a few illiterate youths to break some windows and burn a half dozen cars, then they’ll all have to go get high. You're correct.However,it's safe to say that only two people who've ever walked this earth know the truth,the whole truth and nothing but the truth about this incident.One of those two is dead,the other’s on trial.The photos of Zimmerman shown by ABC News combined with the official autopsy report (injuries to the knuckles;single gunshot wound;nothing else) says to me that Zimmerman's story is more likely than not the true and accurate account of what happened.It's not absolute proof...but it's “reasonable doubt” times two.

Well, she didn’t exactly “write” it. She testified that a friend wrote out the letter and as it turns out it was in cursive. How she happened to know someone who could actually write in cursive has not been established, but nonetheless she could not read what the friend wrote and yet she signed it as testifying that it was what she said. She is a VERY unreliable “witness” for sure.
