and proposes a simple solution that ensures our Constitutional protections
and may leave both sides offended, but free and un-coerced.

"You know you're over the target when everyone is offended and no one is coerced.
As I say in the video: there's only one actual RIGHT on the table here,
and as a Conservative Constructionist that is the only Constitutional obligation
that the issue entails, in my eyes."http://youtu.be/VAbzWiYPv6k
Buuuump!
Bump! And thank you for the ping.
Bill Whittle is right.
Bill Whittle is always right.
Is he? If a man marries 4 women, has twenty kids, do taxpayers have to pay for their education? Provide healthcare? etc. Unfortunately marriage is not just a private contract. If a business chooses not hire people in such arrangements because they can’t afford to provide healthcare for those 20 kids, is that a civil rights violation and can they be sued? Are there child safety/health issues with regards to homosexual or polygamous unions?
He seems to be.
Arguments for socialist programs do not negate the truth of proper Constitutional views.
Uncle Sam is crazy as Caligula BUT..... but he wants to penetrate your orifices..
LAdy Liberty is now riding an ASWIP 2000 broom
to the Socialist Ball..
This is the problem with these initiatives. They sound very good on the surface, ("we're protecting the kids, ensuring everyone has a decent education" and so on )and most of the people who propose them I'm sure are acting from the highest motives, but they never think through the full consequences of their actions.
The socialists have us paying for half the population already anyway. Their aim is to increase it with or without polygamy. 0bama Care is going to exceed all other forms of entitlement spending put together so the rest is academic. Amnesty for illegals and polygamous families would be statistical footnotes in comparison.
Two wrongs don't make a right. End welfare and public indoctrination centers, also things the government isn't empowered to do, and your argument is moot.
Maybe, but increasing intrusion into the family unit has plenty of other benefits for the socialist program anyway. It encourages dependency, it lowers morale, it affects personal freedom...they might as well do it while the entitlement bombshell is being prepared.
Loved this! Thank you!
:o)
Activists like to say it’s about “love.”
The government has no business trying to regulate love. I agree with Bill. Get the government out of religion and out of the business of trying to regulate love. While we’re at it, get the government out of the education business, the charity business, the insurance business, and the health care business, too.
;)
