A teenage friend of Trayvon Martin was forced to admit today in the George Zimmerman murder trial that she did not write a letter that was sent to Martin's mother describing what she allegedly heard on a phone call with Martin moments before he was shot.
In a painfully embarassing moment, Rachel Jeantel was asked to read the letter out loud in court.
"Are you able to read that at all?" defense attorney Don West asked.
Jeantel, head bowed, eyes averted whispered into the court microphone, "Some but not all. I don't read cursive."
It sent a hush through the packed courtroom.
Jeantel, 19, was unable to read any of the letter save for her name...
During nearly two hours of cross examination Wednesday in which he tried to raise questions about her version of events and accused her of telling several lies under oath, including about her whereabouts during Martin's wake.
"Under oath, you created a lie and said you went to the hospital?" asked West.
"Yes," responded Jeantel. She said she lied because she didn't want to see the body.
Jeantel became increasingly agitated and scoffed when West told her that she would have to continue testifying.
She is seen as a critical witness to the prosecution because she is the only person able to say that Martin claimed that he noticed a strange man following him and that he was scared. Jeantel said Martin described the stranger as a "creepy ass cracker."
Jeantel said Martin, 17, was walking home during halftime of the NBA All-Star Game when he became unnerved because he was being followed.

This tells much about Trayvon. Anyone involved with her must be crazy.

What was done to that tortured soul for the vast majority of her childhood through mandated, forced indoctrination is criminal cruelty as well as societal suicide.
For the rest of her life that early harm will come back to her and to US, our progressive karma, and then be passed on to the next generation, step by step, progressing us to the darkest sides of our human nature and calling it government policy.
Imagine who she could have been and what she might have achieved had her young and growing mind been exposed to truth, rather than agenda.

Sadly many schools no longer teach cursive.
I can understand why too.. I have little hand writing in my life I print notes and key everything that any one else will need to read.
But the fact that at one time it seems the witness claimed to have written but can not have done so says a lot about the case
On the (above mentioned) video this witness' statements had to be captioned for the viewing audience.

Just yesterday, good ole Shep of Fox News was still posting those 12yr old photos of Trayvon. I just hope no journalist is on the jury.
I have not followed this very closely...what is the thinking..... Did this woman do any of the things she claims?
Anytime you sign your name on check, or sign a document, that is cursive writing.

My guess is that this all came out in deposition and the defense WANTED her on the stand so much that they would have called her if the prosecution had not.
I’m betting it was Crump. He’s in this way over his head. Zimmerman’s attorney needs to get a handwriting expert, Crump and this fat ‘N-word’ both need to be charged with obstruction of justice and jailed.
Yeah, I know it's not really a BABY picture, just a photo at least 5 years younger with a cute, sweet looking boy as opposed to the thug pictures of himself that Trayvon was proud enough of to put online.
But was he illiterate after 14 years of taxpayer funded schooling?
