The stream I was watching was from a local Orlando or Miami TV station and the analyst,I believe,was a local lawyer.As I said,early in her testimony he said she was doing well.It was only her later performance that he said was ineffective.
The defense needs to use Dee Dee's stupidity against her tomorrow. It shouldn't be hard to trip her up.
One thing this analyst said that made sense to me was that the defense needs to tread carefully with her.He said that if they're too tough on her it could create sympathy for her among the jurors.Seems to me that they'd be wise to do their best to point out as much uncertainty,and as many inconsistencies,as they can in her words but do it in a way that cannot be seen as deliberately hostile,aggressive or disrespectful.

She's certainly seldom mistaken for a brain surgeon,that's for sure.But one needn't have an IQ of 130 to be credible in a courtroom.Her problem,while being questioned by the defense,is that she looked like...and sounded like...a deer in the headlights.A reasonable juror wouldn't give much credence to what she said today,IMO.

Tomorrow should be quite entertaining.
Several years ago, I had a witness similar to her. I got him tired on day one (it wasn’t intentional, just the way the trial broke) and got him to break the following day. I used a scene from the Caine Mutiny, where Queeg was being questioned, and blew up. Similar to Nicholson in A Few Good Men. My witness exploded when I, very patiently, asked the same question multiple times with slight variations. I never got a direct answer, and I would always say, “Mr _______, maybe you didn’t understand my question, let me rephrase it.” It wasn’t long before the witness got frustrated, the jury picked up on the fact that my question wasn’t being answered, and the Judge was getting antsy. It wasn’t long before the witness exploded at my client, then me, then the Judge. The case was dismissed at the next break.
She was exposed for exactly what she is. A mumbling moron. And tomorrow the defence will get her to admit she swallowed a go cart tire.
No biggie.
I hope so, because so far the defense lawyers are losing this big time, starting with a stupid knock-knock joke and then following up with an equally stupid statement that "there are no monsters here" when in fact, they should have portrayed Trayvon Martin from the get-go as a teen age hood & thug & criminal. And then they were barely able to cross examine a fat lying pig like "Rachel" with any degree of competence or unable to shred & nail shut fast her lying testimony & lack of credibility.
Too bad GZ isn't able to reconvene OJ Simpson's Dream Team. They would have literally shredded the "star witness" Rachel into a thousand pieces of lies & inconsistencies. To me, it looks like Zimmerman's defense team is trying to be incompetent & to lose this case, especially the crustacean old bald headed lawyer, who has been the main defense lawyer so far.
As always seems to be the case, liberals, demoRAT politicans, or liberal leftie lawyers always seem to able to exploit every single iota for their advantage, and Repubs or conservatives or their lawyers seem to be befuddled & inept & incompetent in just about every aspect or case.
Zimmerman's goose is close to getting cooked & char broiled by now, unless his defense team is able to pull their heads out of their asses, and do an about face starting tomorrow. Otherwise GZ is looking at life in prison for what should have been an open & shut case for the defense.

It’s pretty obvious that Trayvon sucker-punched Zimmerman as evidenced by the nose injury.
Once Zim was down, Trayvon pounced and started pounding Zim’s head against the ground.
Zim reached for his gun, as did Trayvon, but Zim got it first and ventilated him.
I will bet anything Zim testifies that’s pretty much what went down.
Trayvon sounds like a “NWA” and probably approached Zim and asked him “Wud da’ f*** you followin’ me fo?” and before Zim could answer, Trayvon sucker punched him.
I’m sure Trayvon has played “The Knockout Game” that is so popular with current black youths.
Except Trayvon didn’t realize Zim was armed until it was too late. The bigger, stronger Zimmerman was able to gain control of his firearm and shoot Trayvon before he could get his gun and use it against him.

Thanks. In my humble opinion, the defense blew it again today by making her sympathetic at times. They. Never should have attacked her for not being able to read. She had already proven she is....stupid, condescending, and rude. They have to hammer reasonable doubt. Could have been Trayvon screaming, could have been GZ. No way to know. Therefore GZ walks.
