You may remember lessons when you were a child by your parent or Sunday School teacher that doing bad things leads to a life of ruin. That telling one little white lie often leads to other lies to cover up the first one, which can lead to worse things.
Which brings me to my disappointment in Marco Rubio and how he came to support the very policies he attacked liberal and now Democrat Charlie Crist for supporting in 2010.
By now, we all know that in 2010, Crist supported amnesty and Rubio attacked him for it. While some of us will be able to forgive Marco Rubios rather rapid shift toward the very position he once vocally opposed, others probably will not be so forgiving.

True - but until he became US Senator there probably weren't three people outside of Florida who had ever heard of him.
True. The founders saw this which is why they wanted government service to be temporary.
He’ll be a barback in some Cuban joint in Miami come 2020
Is that a direct quote?
"THEY" already say the border is secure?
Marco Rubio Steps Closer to an Obama Hug
Rubio will know he has become one of the chosen few when Obama bows to him.
Sadly, people like Hannity are still in a love affair with Rubio.
Yes.
If Rubio has just referred to conservatives as “they” on national television, he may have just committed political suicide.
I am deeply troubled about a press release from rep in the US House, who has a very conservative reputation:
This bill is about finding a compassionate yet firm and law-abiding solution to immigration reform. It also means bringing an estimated 11 million people out from the shadows
UH-OH!
and directly into the work force, where they will pay taxes, pay into social security, and contribute positively to our nation. We can do this without granting amnesty and without granting a new pathway to citizenship, said Chairman Carter.
Maybe he believes he can reconcile "out of the shadows" with "no new path to citizenship," but I think any "comprehensive" immigration bill coming out of the House is likely to come out of a senate-house conference committee with such a new-path-to-citizenship.
I think he is playing with fire, and I want to get an opportunity to speak with him in person. Failing that, I suppose I need to draft a petition and go door to door.
Voting out someone who allows amnesty might make us feel good, but the irreversible damage would have been done by then.
Here’s the context in which he made the statement. He was trying to sell the Schumer Republican line that “we’ve got to do something”. He kept saying that conservatives don’t want to do anything and let things stay the way they are. He started in on “the fence” and all of the new border patrol agents we are supposed to be getting with their new amendment. That was when he said that “they” (conservatives) are saying that the border already is secure and nothing needed to be done.
Thank you for the context. But in his word choice he appears to have separated himself from conservatives. That’s something a lot of us had already figured, but now he’s made it official.
More like Marco is one step closer to getting primaried by Allen West a real conservative.
Before Jim Reeves I heard Bimbo done by Fred Kirby who used to do a TV show for kids back in the fifties. I couldn’t find a video of him doing Bimbo but this one is dated seven years before my birth and he was apparently taking his singing more seriously back then. I remember seeing Fred riding his horse “Calico” in the annual watermelon parade at Pageland, SC when I was a child.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgCsN2tgtOo
Verb: "He gonna Rubio us all"
Past tense: "we've been Rubio'd"
Noun: "Pull a "Rubio" - "What a "Rubio"
Adjective: "Don't go "Rubio" on us"
Why not right now? The citizens of Florida we're lied to and they can recall him. Maybe such an effort would lay down the law to other conservative imposters.
Are you listening Kelly?
” wont this show Rubio as the snake oil salesman that he is? “
YES
