Today, June 26th, is DAY #13 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. An explosive second day of deconstructed witness testimony took place yesterday. Which leads to the big question:
Will witness #8, Rachel Jeantel, be called to the stand today?
[Yesterday could] only be characterized as an utter debacle for the prosecution in Florida v. Zimmerman. Besides the testimony of a couple of highly professional law enforcement witnesses, the testimony of the the other State witnesses ranged from signing George Zimmermans praises, to acknowledging the utility of following a suspicious person from a distance, to being utterly discredited by razor sharp cross-examination of the defense.
Before we even get to the disaster that was the States witnesses, however, we first have to discuss this mornings hearing and the extent to which it evanescent is the States case against George Zimmerman. State: Zimmerman Is So Good, He Must Be Bad ............

I’m not watching it, but if this “girlfriend” comes across as bad as you guys say, shouldn’t that tell us plenty of what kind of character Trayvon was?
We don’t need the burglary tools and past school probations.
She’ll do just fine. I know if I was on that jury, I would be thinking, what kind of “boy” would would be attracted to this “girlfriend”?
I think the judge was simply trying to minimize the damage done by DeDe’s attitude.
If I was the prosecutor, I’d be tempted to do a LT Caffey and get drunk tonight. Couldn’t hurt.
Testimony under oath today turned out that the two never had a single date.
Lazy reporters who keep reporting each other's lies.
Lucky Trayvon for never having had to waste money on a date with this "girlfriend."

Here’s the thing. The defense has some pretty good admissions from her, so they are going to have to be real careful and not impeach her entire testimony. Right now, I can not imagine any juror that would give her testimony any weight for their deliberations.
The judge is in on it. She has ruled against the Defense almost every single time a question has come up. No help there.
I wonder is there's an Omar The Tent-Maker at the Sanford Mall?
An equally racist and anti-whitey one?
SEE POST 795.
What commentators are you watching?
You've got to wonder how the public school system can turn out so many people who never master English and become fluent in spite of being born here.
The biggest so far. What is she on, the George Zimmerman Diet?
At the end of that interview she admitted that it COULD BE TRAYVON, but IT WASN'T. Crump didn't want anyone to hear that part.
She was checking her nails as she walked out of the courtroom.
Will the M side take advantage of the all night breather and attempt to coach her this evening?
FOX and HLN.
The judge directed her to speak to no one, including lawyers, about the case. She is considered to still be on the stand. The lawyers would be taking a huge risk trying to coach her any further.
What the hell is “the biggest piece of bringing justice” even mean?
They’ve had a year to coach her and look what they have produced. What do you think they can do in one night???
Crump is probably dumb enough to try. He has to be on the verge of panic now.
