Democrats in Maryland accused local Tea Partiers of having violent tendencies, resulting in them being banned by local law enforcement from attending an upcoming town hall event with their Congressman, Breitbart News has learned.
Local Maryland bloggers at Front Line State broke the story on Saturday morning, noting that Carroll County Maryland Democrats have reportedly attempted to use the Sheriffs department to keep members of a local Tea Party activist group from attending a meet and greet with their congressional representative, Chris Van Hollen, on Monday June 24 at Caroll County Community College (CCCC).
Van Hollen is the ranking member of the House Budget Committee
Michelle Jefferson of We The People (WTP), a local Tea Party group in the area, told Front Line State that she had spoken with Major Tom Long of the Carroll County Sheriffs Department when she returned home on Wednesday after the Audit The IRS rally in Washington, D.C.
Long told her that Don West, the recording secretary for the Carroll County Democratic Central Committee, had contacted the Community Colleges campus security, the State Police, and the county sheriffs office asking that We The People be banned from attending Van Hollens upcoming town hall event. He claimed the Tea Party group engages in what he described as violent tendencies.
It was later discovered that West, the Democratic Party official, filed an interim peace order against WTPs Jefferson.....

Any conspiracy to deprive a group of their civil rights is actionable, criminally and civilly. Press charges, and sue the b@stards.
Democrats can’t compete on a level playing field and they can’t defend their own dogma without lying—especially to themselves.
I think that was true under the old republic and constitution, but in the modern era, I’m not so sure. Might want to ask a commissar or Obama block captain the next time you’re at mandatory work detail or enthusiasm-for-the-revolution classes.
Last year O’Malley gerrymandered Carroll County, which is rural and very red, and took away the conservative GOP Congressman. Now Van Hollen is too chicken face any grass roots opposition.
Liberty tree
Assuming this fool signed the request that labeled the WTP group as violent, a lawsuit for libel seems appropriate.
Sue them and anyone connected with the action ,, make it hurt , do it NOW.
I went to the Audit the IRS Rally last Wednesday on a bus that had participants from Carroll County. Not a violent tendency was seen among the mostly grey-haired, and “Vietnam-vet-looking” people.
Also, not a violent tendency seen in the entire crowd in DC, and Van Hollen knows it!!!! All he had to do was come onto the steps of the Capitol and look at us!
Maybe he is scared of a Gadsden flag, or a witty poster.
When will we TAKE our country back? Being civil and playing nicey-nicey ain’t going to get the job done.
.....as opposed to the "actual acts of violence" committed by Democrats in Maryland.
Yep. It’s past time, esp. in this godforsaken state.
Keep on sowing the wind, DemocRATS!
Bump
File a civil rights lawsuit. Violating the right to assembly.
Solution: show up anyway. Bring cameras and as many people as possible. We’ve got to understand there is no sense waisting money on attorneys to avoid conflict. We are already in conflict. We must meet and defeat the aggressor whenever possible. If we get arrested for simply showing up, so be it.
Not satisfied with going after 2nd amendment rights, they are now going after the 1st too. The fascists’ true colors coming through. ..

No longer free to assemble, free to petition their government?
Nope.
