A growing number of married American couples are agreeing to allow husbands to keep their wives 'in line' by taking to corporal punishment.
The trend is called Christian Domestic Discipline and much of what is known about the practice is published on the website Learning Domestic Discipline, published by husband and wife CDD duo, Clint and Chelsea.
The website states: 'It is an arrangement between two adults who share the belief that the husband is the head of the household and with that position comes the right to enforce his authority.' Clint and Chelsea have also written a 50-page packet on the practice called Beginning Domestic Discipline.
Manifesto: Learningdd.com is a source of a lot of information on the new painful Christian trend
In the packet they describe CDD as a practice between two consenting life partners in which the head of household (HoH) takes the necessary measures to achieve a healthy relationship dynamic.
That translates to all methods of punishment, not exclusive to spanking. Clint and Chelsea advocate lecturing, removing privileges, corner and bedroom time essentially the ways most people discipline their children.

Muslims, stone thier women, menatally and physically abuse thier women, lop thier heads off and honor kill them.
yeah, but odd christian sects spank theirs.
My significant other is a short guy but a good one. My father was physically and mentally abusive to me, also possibly sexually abusive to my sisters.
Fortunately, ever since I left home, no man has ever tried to lay a hand on me in that way (although I did get mugged once in downtown L.A. over 30 years ago).
Reminds me of getting upgraded to first class with my wife one time. We were given seats in different rows and some of the last to board. Wanting a window seat, she suggested I take the aisle seat in row 1. The man in the window seat, a distinguished Jonathan Goldman looking type and seeing we were together but going to be separated, offered his seat to my wife. She accepted and as he moved across the row to the aisle, she said, "Oh by the way, my seat is back in coach." The man looked completely dismayed by the awkwardness until she said, "Just kidding." People sitting close by started laughing and he responded, "You know young lady, you're not too old to spank." More laughter.
sorry it went over your head :)
Subtext is see, your fundamentalists are the same in both Christianity and Islam.
“Subtext is see, your fundamentalists are the same in both Christianity and Islam.”
All except for the part of women having no souls and that whole fuzzy part of whether women go to ‘paradise’ or not in Islam.
And, all other Christians think those Christians are weird.
