"Certain U.S. forces recently deployed to Jordan solely to participate in a training exercise. This exercise ended on June 20, 2013. At the request of the Government of Jordan, a combat-equipped detachment of approximately 700 of these forces remained in Jordan after the conclusion of the exercise to join other U.S. forces already in Jordan," Obama writes. That has got to be one of the most premature, not to say hypocritical, acts in history. All the screeching heard round the world about the US trying to police the world, the evil American warmongerers, etc-and of all Presidents, this one gets awarded the Nobel “Peace” Prize, when he’s arbitrarily instigated more military actions than other Presidents combined. He gets awarded for breathing while black.
The timing is suspicious, after he already flip flopped on helping Syria after threats by Russia if he supported Assad’s opposition. But he needs a war to distract for the growing revelations that the administration has shredded the Fourth Amendment in addition to undermining the first and second ones.
