Russ Tice, a former intelligence analyst and Bush-era NSA whistleblower, claimed Wednesday that the intelligence community has ordered surveillance on a wide range of groups and individuals, including high-ranking military officials, lawmakers and diplomats.
He also made another stunning allegation. He says the NSA had ordered wiretaps on phones connected to then-Senate candidate Barack Obama back in 2004.
They went afterand I know this because I had my hands literally on the paperwork for these sort of thingsthey went after high-ranking military officers; they went after members of Congress, both Senate and the House, especially on the intelligence committees and on the armed services committees and some of theand judicial, Tice told Peter B. Collins on Boiling Frog Post News.
He went on: But they went after other ones, too. They went after lawyers and law firms. All kinds ofheaps of lawyers and law firms. They went after judges. One of the judges is now sitting on the Supreme Court that I had his wiretap information in my hand. Two are former FISA court judges. They went after State Department officials. They went after people in the executive service that were part of the White Housetheir own people.

Mobsters and political assassins have taken over the government completely. No other way to explain this. Explains why Chicago is a killing field and while many American cities are increasing with gang violence. The past two cities that I lived in the police chiefs in both cities denied that they even had gang activities. The gangs were in both cites. Now, they are in D.C., too just the kinds who have political power and sends the person out to do what needs to be done. D.C. is infested with corruption.
This guy is no Fast Eddie Snowden.
What he had to say is told in "story" form.
His story is too sweet.
I am not buying any of what he had to say.
Some guy looking for some celebrity on the back of Fast Eddie.
Fast Eddie took a thumb drive to back him up.
This guy nothing but his name to back him up and that name is not good enough in my book.
Guys like this do more harm than good because they get discredited and muck things up.
They have not discredited a bit of what Fast Eddie has said so far.
They can only call him a traitor and point out that he ended up in China.
Maybe his car will hit a tree.
Gee. People come out and risk their lives for celebrity- hood.
Isn’t this just a way to say Obama is innocent because Bush started it?
He says the NSA had ordered wiretaps on phones connected to then-Senate candidate Barack Obama back in 2004.
***If these guys couldn’t stop a usurper from taking the most powerful seat in the world, they have no business spying on us. Catching terrorists, whadda buncha bowlsheet.
I think that is what the fella is implying.
It just shows me there is nothing worth saving in DC, other than our Constitution.
DC is a nest of corruption and we are feeding these parasites.
Agreed.
I didn’t see the Clintons mentioned.
Sorry, but for anyone in the past or present intelligence community or even on the fringe, this is about as surprising as bacon for breakfast. My late father was a USMC commo chief when he retired and later was hired by Southern Bell to tap phones all day, every day. That was 1968.
??? Seven years later, he has NEW info he didn’t share in 2006?

He only made it about halfway through the Bush era: The NSA fired him in May 2005.
Tice was a key source in the New York Times’ first reveal of the NSA’s warrantless wiretapping of foreign-domestic calls. That was, as I recall, at the end of 2005.
So where were all these “explosive allegations” then? While he was explaining to the New York Times how the Bush administration was spying on al-Qaeda, he never mentioned that they were spying on our own military leaders?
If then-Senator thug Zero was wiretapped, the Bush NSA did an incompetent job of stopping him from getting elected to the Senate and the Oval Office.
President Zero on the other hand.......
so they tapped obama. no wonder bush was so friendly to him.
Looks like a desperate PR attempt to me since it's more likely to bring more whistle-blowers out of the woodwork when the NSA sees that King Barry is going to throw the whole agency under the bus.
“Guys like this do more harm than good because they get discredited and muck things up.”
I think you have come across the reason behind this “revelation”. Lord knows, Obama could use some “mucking things up” just about now.
