ANN ARBOR, MI The Thomas More Law Center, a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, today announces a victory in their lawsuit against teacher Johnson McDowell of Howell High School in Howell, Michigan. Federal District Judge Patrick J. Duggan of the Eastern District of Michigan issued his opinion yesterday.
The Court declared the teachers actions in punishing Daniel Glowacki for expressing his beliefs against homosexuality violated Daniels First Amendment rights. In its findings of factthe Court described how the teacher initiated a discussion about homosexuality. The teacher wore a purple t-shirt and was promoting the homosexual agenda. In response, the Plaintiff, 16 year-old Daniel Glowacki stated that homosexuality was against his Catholic beliefs. The teacher, admittedly, became angry and threw Daniel out of class because he disagreed with Daniels beliefs.

What happened to the teacher?
Wow. The ACLU supported the student against the teacher. Impressive that they didn’t just sit this one out.
Praise God!! We need to take all of these incidents to court. Is there a legal foundation that handles such cases and where can I give them support?
Fags are militant about this whole, "always in your face" nonsense, because deep down they know they're less than animals. Reprobates, every one.
I hope his rotten @zz gets clobbered with a hefty monetary sum.
“What happened to the teacher?”
I assume his legal fees were paid for by the district, his union made him Teacher of the Year, and the Boy Scouts just hired him for the summer to work some pre-teen camps.
I suspect that low-information teacher did not use good judgement but was indoctrinated to likewise try to indoctrinate students to abopt pro-gay stance.
Every so often the USSC is demonstrated to be totally correct about teachers being among life’s jackbooted government thugs.
There’s a picture of the teacher and some reference to what happened to him in this 2011 Gay Star News article. . .

Yes show me the money! This is not a teacher of young students
and should never be allowed in a class room again! But will probably get and admin job paying three time the money!
Or a professorship
@ Columbia!
He went on a date with the homosexual lawyer representing him.
Kudos to Daniel Glowacki and TMLC and surprisingly the ACLU supported them also.
The fact that a student is required to obtain legal council and go to court in order to protect himself after simply expressing his sincere religious views in a taxpayer supported school shows how far we have fallen.
There is nothing in the article that says that the teacher was disciplined in any way for forcing students to participate in a homosexual propaganda discussion when they should have been learning.
Who authorizes our taxpayer supported public schools to push the homosexual agenda down our children’s throats? Why are we wasting taxpayer money supporting the poisoning of the minds of our children. Our tax money is being spent paying sick people to encourage our children to become perverts like them.
It must stop. Families can not afford to higher lawyers to protect their children in public schools.
Most likely other harmful opinions of the ACLU depend upon the legal principles on which this case was founded.
Richard Thompson, President and Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Law Center, commenting on the favorable court decision, stated:
The purpose of our lawsuit was to protect students constitutional rights to free speech, defend religious liberty, and stop public schools from becoming indoctrination centers for the homosexual agenda.
Gee, THAT'll show him !
Sound logic. Thank you!
Probably not over yet.
It is expected that the teacher will appeal the decision.
