Hi, all!
This week, we got some big news about the immigration reform bill. It's a little wonky, but it's so great that I couldn't wait to share it with you.
The nonpartisan experts who estimate the financial impact of legislation for Congress concluded that because undocumented immigrants will start paying more in taxes for things like education and Social Security, the immigration proposal in the Senate will make the economy fairer for middle class families while cutting the U.S. deficit by almost $1,000,000,000,000 over the next two decades.
With every passing day, its becoming clear that we cant afford not to act. Now we know exactly how much is at stake, and it's the kind of news that can help to change the policy conversation in Washington.
So we've put together a graphic that explains exactly how this works, and we need your help to share it. If more people get the facts, it'll be easier to build a nationwide, bipartisan consensus to get this done.
Take a look, then share this graphic with folks you know:

Thank you so much!

That’s enough money to pay for the healthcare for the illegals. /S
The pigmentation caste system is lively in most of Latin America.
It’s different in my wife’s country, Cuba. Money rules there, and nationality.
My wife is reasonably fair (not like me, tho—I’m French/Swedish), but that doesn’t count. My f-in-law’s people are from Greece and the Canary Islands and owned vast tracts of land. That money talked loudly.
He arrived in Miami with nothing, but made a new fortune here from scratch, which regained him his status in the diaspora community.
That his daughter married an American with little money (at the time) was quite a step down for them. Fortunately, I’m quite pretty so they accepted me with smothering arms.
And if you know your Hispanic families, you know about those “smothering arms.”
Ejecting 11-20 million illegals will save even more.
Californias 2013-14 budget calls for K thru 12 education of $41,191,701,000.
Higher education budget is 11,436,791,000.
http://www.ebudget.ca.gov/2013-14/agencies.html
The entire budget is $145,826,550,000
K-12 is 28% of the budget
Higher education is another 8%
So, with a school budget of 36% of the state budget, why is nobody talking about how much it costs to raise their kids?
Below is a link to a local Los Angeles school where it costs $12,000 average per kid a year in school. From this link you can go to any school district in the country.
Van Nuys Elementary School
http://www.greatschools.org/california/van-nuys/2447-Van-Nuys-Elementary-School/
The school is rated 3 out of 10
94% of this school is Hispanic
The API test score for this school and state are 2/10 and it has gone down 13 points from 2011 to 2012
50% of the kids are eligible for free breakfast, lunch and dinner with a state average of 54%
50% are English learners with a state average of 24%
A kid going thru K-12 school in Los Angeles will cost $156,000.
There is no way this amnesty can be a positive move.
You know, building the fence will also take decades and decades and save 1 trillion dollars.
For some odd reason I will go with the fence.
Do you have any idea how many armed men we could put on the border for the next 20 years for a trillion dollars?
Fixing Our Broken Immigration System will save One Trillion Dollars! (over the next two decades)....in centavos....if you don’t count the 12 trillion dollars that it will cost us....and the 75 million jobs lost to Americans that are here legally.....and discounting the loss of lives of legal Americans because of illegal criminals sneaking over the borders...
...other that it sounds like a good deal!
Will the Central Bank of Mexico convert the Trillion dollars in centavos into pesos for us?
New tagline...
Just like obamacare is supposed to save trillions, too!
Save two trillion dollars, the CBO said the same thing about obamacare, and then reversed itself after the Bill passed.
The debt was about 10 trillion when these jokers took over. It is almost 17 trillion now.
It’s risible for these clowns to talk about money saved: they spend it as fast as they can.
No more debt limit increases. No undocumented democrats. No more money to muslims. No mas!
Anything they propose—other than resigning en masse—No.
Funny how the mnetal midgets can spew crap and there are those who eat it and request more. I personally though we were going to save a gazzillion dollars but what do I know
I read the title of the article, got down to whitehouse.gov and stopped reading right there.
I have had more than enough BULLSH#T for today.
