Barack Obama bombs in Berlin: a weak, underwhelming address from a floundering president
The Telegraph ^ | 6/20/2013 | Nile Gardiner

In stark contrast to that of his presidential predecessors, Barack Obama’s message on Wednesday was pure mush, another clichéd “citizens of the world” polemic with little substance. This was a speech big on platitudes and hopeless idealism, while containing much that was counter-productive for the world’s superpower. Ultimately it was little more than a laundry list of Obama’s favourite liberal pet causes, including cutting nuclear weapons, warning about climate change, putting an end to all wars, shutting Guantanamo, ending global poverty, and backing the European Project. It was a combination of staggering naiveté, the appeasement of America’s enemies and strategic adversaries, and the championing of more big government solutions.

No one has bombed that bad in Berlin since the 8th Air Force.

Best comment of the thread. Well done! Semper Fi.

"Ich bin ein bad reader!"

MSNBC host and Obama sycophant Chris Matthews blamed the sun for spoiling the president’s speech in Berlin today.

“I think a lot of the problem he had today was the late afternoon sun in Berlin ruined his use of the teleprompter and so his usual dramatic windup was ruined,” Matthews said immediately after the speech. “I think he was really struggling with the text there.”

Speaking behind a glass bulletproof shield, Obama appeared to be using the text of the speech rather than reading off of teleprompters.

Merkel is looking at him in this picture like - “hey, get back behind the glass!” All in all, the effect of that giant piece of glass and the moron pols sitting behind it was to convey the image of an “idiot aquarium.” In the pic, Oblahblah is trying to escape the aquarium.

She’s thinking...”What dumb Americans” - too fat? too lazy? too rich? too poor?

She’s thinking...Americans, they invent anti-perspirant
and then don’t use it!

Yup. And the sun reflecting off the totus made it impossible for him to deliver an even more rousing speech to the massive crowd gathered just to catch a glimpse of his royalness.

She’s probably looking at the icky sweat stains under his arms (in a transparent white shirt). Bambi sweats like a lunatic. But then, that’s probably because he is one.

In stark contrast to that of his presidential predecessors, Barack Obama’s message on Wednesday was pure mush...

Rather much like all his speeches of the last six years....

Well, we can at least make out the words even if they make no sense. His bro jessuh jackson is almost unintelligible. He’s the real mush mouth. We caught a little of king hussein’s Berlin speech yesterday on one of the talk radio shows where he was talking about stopping climate change (good luck with that). My wife and I were flabbergasted at some of the things he said. I guess he doesn’t think Germans do any fact checking. Holy boat load of crap. Every time I think I’ve heard it all, another barge loaded with manure comes by. No offense to manure intended
