In stark contrast to that of his presidential predecessors, Barack Obama’s message on Wednesday was pure mush, another clichéd “citizens of the world” polemic with little substance. This was a speech big on platitudes and hopeless idealism, while containing much that was counter-productive for the world’s superpower. Ultimately it was little more than a laundry list of Obama’s favourite liberal pet causes, including cutting nuclear weapons, warning about climate change, putting an end to all wars, shutting Guantanamo, ending global poverty, and backing the European Project. It was a combination of staggering naiveté, the appeasement of America’s enemies and strategic adversaries, and the championing of more big government solutions.

We voted for him! Isn’t he better than Mittens? Why Mitt flip Flopped—he was an evil MORMON—tied his dog to the roof of his car—and hated women too! We get the leader we deserve! Just as The Germans voted for Hitler and were bombed into the 19th Century—so too she shall pay a grim and terrible price for electing this clown. What’s next in the cards? War grim and awful—WW III or CW II Or Rev. II. Take your pick but in the end lots of folks will be dead.

Although I too have gotten a liberal or two to admit that this fellow is a complete and worthless canard, they would still have pulled the lever for him, and will do so for his anointed successor.
There is no opposition to this man worthy of the name. The Republicans are certainly of scant help. We need a couple more political parties.
How do you do that?
Even 2,500 would be a stretch, based on the pics I’ve seen... and very likely among them were:
o American State Department employees all over Germany and the rest of Europe - including executive branch agencies
o American military personnel and their families who were virtually “ordered” to attend
o American company employees who work for companies supporting Obama/Democrats
o Liberal students from German universities
o Former East-Germany groups still associated with Communism
o Family of European media who were given complimentary tickets in good seats
o Some high schools students who were let out of class to attend
o The entire Obama trip staff
