Not only is Big Brother President Obama watching you, hes going to start messaging you if you own an iPhone with AT&T service.
AT&T subscribers with an iPhone 4S or 5 using iOS 6.1 or higher are going to start getting presidential alerts on matters of national importance whether you want them or not.
As part of AT&Ts new Wireless Emergency Alerts, once a user updates their operating system, AMBER and Emergency alerts are automatically sent to the phone. However . . .

My contract is up in February...That’s when I cancel - cold turkey on ANY mobile phone.
I’ve just decided not to upgrade my iPhone 3.
Yup, just an occasional little reminder from the totalitarian state that they are there.....
Don’t succomb Verizon.
Or you will lose me.
To side with the Obamadork is to slide with unadulaterated putrescence.
Obama is slime. Pure slime.
And those that side with him are slime supporters.
I don’t have an ATT phone. But if I did, I would only have it for as long as it took me to get another phone and provider that didn’t have this new “feature.”
If the author wrote clearly you’d know this is imposed on the carriers. Not At&t initiative. They happen to be the first.
The CEO of AT&T is on the Boy Scouts national board and was one of the key people who pushed the Boy Scouts to allow homosexuals among the Scouts.
I will NOT purchase any phone that requires this.
Consumer power WILL prevail!
National Importance? Maybe a election reminder?
Verizon has had them since July 2012.
Revolt is coming.

Sad to say, but it looks like it may be time to consider life without a cellphone (again). Might be kinda’ nice... :-)
Another reason to buy a Blackberry!
Big Bro will be watching!
Damn this communists controlled America. We are screwed and it will never change. America is finished.
Ping.
EXCERPT All sorts of bad news in this CNN poll for Obama - a poll that has consistently shown the president's approval numbers better than almost any other pollster. Obama's approval dropped 8 points in the last month. But some of the cross tabs should worry the White House: President Barack Obama's approval rating dropped eight percentage points over the past month, to 45%, the president's lowest rating in more than a year and a half, according to a new national poll. The poll indicates that for the first time in Obama's presidency, half of the public says they don't believe he is honest and trustworthy.
The president's approval rating stands at 45%, down from 53% in mid-May. And 54% say they disapprove of how Obama's handling his job, up nine points from last month. It's the first time in CNN polling since November 2011 that a majority of Americans have had a negative view of the president. Fueling the president's drop is his standing with those under 30, down 17 points in a month. And more than 60% believe that the government is so big and powerful, it threatens our liberty. COMMENTS We cannot remain complacent---he and the first ding-dong are enamored w/ the power and are living a billion dollar lifestyle all financed by the taxpayers. It is going to be hard to dislodge these creeps...even after two terms. O's got his conman act down pat. It's the Clinton MO---no matter what happens, act like all is A-OK.
The scandals flooding tha nation are enormous---we need to get stupid Pubbies moving. IRS haters are legion, and young voters on Twitter and Facebook do not like being spied on----there's a lot of votes there for the taking.
It's an FCC mandate. The program is the same as the Emergency Broadcast Service, and it the 17 years of a "Presidential alert" capability being available, it's never been used. Not even on 9/11/01.
