A new CNN poll finds that 66 percent of American adults believe that it's "right" for the Obama administration to analyze and collect Internet data. Only 33 percent believe the action is "wrong," and 1 percent have "No opinion."

"[F]or the past few years the Obama administration has reportedly been gathering and analyzing information from major internet companies about audio and video chats, photographs, e-mails and documents involving people in other countries in an attempt to locate suspected terrorists. The government reportedly does not target internet usage by U.S. citizens and if such data is collected, it is kept under strict controls," reads the poll question. "Do you think the Obama administration was right or wrong in gathering and analyzing that internet data?"

Why is anyone citing a CNN poll? Could any poll be more biased?

Don’t follow polls. It’s all in how you ask the questions.

They stacked the deck in the questioning.

I would love to boycott Time Warner, but they are the only show in town-—they have both our internet and cable tv.

In 25 years the question will be “Do you approve of the re-education camps for conservatives and other enemies of the state”? 75% will answer yes.

Then they also believe that GWB and the startup of the Patriot act was a good thing. You know the one that was to target AQ, the real enemy, not Tea Party patriots, opposite political parties or donors.

If we would have had this press in WWII, we’d be speaking German. Israel wouldn’t exist. Jews wouldn’t exist. Blacks wouldn’t exist.

And yet, we’re the evil empire to the Left.

These people live in the world of Peter Pan. They’ve completely lost their marbles.

BS. Maybe not just yet, but it’s in the works. I wonder if there is a video of him saying anything to counteract that lie?

"The government reportedly does not target internet usage by U.S. citizens and if such data is collected, it is kept under strict controls,"

Note that we are NEVER told how much of the data is stored and how long it is stored for. This is the real issue. My bet is that it is ALL stored and it is all stored indefinitely. Thus, there is a massive database on all Americans which can be searched to find out the most minute details on any American's life. I note that when J. Edgar Hoover headed the FBI he didn't hesitate to use the intelligence gathered to blackmail and harass opponents and to increase his power - why should we think the NSA would not do the same?
