Palin Slams Gang of Eight, Warns of ‘Perhaps Armed IRS Agents’ Implementing Obamacare
The National Review's The Corner ^ | June 15, 2013 | Katrina Trinko

Sarah Palin pushed back against Jeb Bush’s argument that decreased fertility rates in the United States meant that immigration reform was necessary.

“I say this as someone who’s kind of fertile herself,” the mother of five told attendees at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s Road to Majority Conference today. “I don’t think that’s where we want to go in deciding how will we incentivize the hard-working responsible families who want to . . . follow the law and become Americans versus those whose very first act on our soil is to break the law. “

During his speech at the same event on Friday, Bush had said that “immigrants are more fertile,” and noted that the United States was not replacing its population quickly enough.

Palin also derided the Gang of Eight’s proposal. “Let’s not kid ourselves in believing that we can rebuild our majority, by the way,” she urged, “by passing a pandering, rewarding-the-rule-breakers, still-no-border-security, special-interests-ridden amnesty bill.”

Palin harshly criticized the government over the slew of recent scandals, saying that “in Benghazi, the government lied and Americans died.” She also warned about how the Obamacare implementation would necessitate swelling the IRS’s ranks, saying the government would be “hiring up to 16,000 to 20,000 perhaps-armed IRS agents to implement this act.”(continued)

I don’t agree when he says that the GOP can be reformed. I think the only way Conservatives can get a voice is to form a national CONSERVATIVE party or organize the TEA Party into one unified voice. Polls show that approximately 46% of the country is Conservative. What are we waiting for?
*****************************************************************
Sorry, the ONLY way that we conservatives are going to successfully compete, both nationally and locally is to promote and work for conservative Republican candidates at all levels and to TAKE OVER THE REPUBLICAN PARTY. We can do that by getting one consevative elected at a time (and that does not mean we can’t elect many new ones in a single year [e.g. 2014 & 2016]) and by having a SOLID conservative candidate prevail in the Republican 2016 primaries.

We must avoid the situation where we have a multitude of conservative candidates splitting the conservative vote thus allowing a “moderate” to slip through. For the 2016 election there appear to be a number of “moderates” (aka RINOs/CINOs) lining up—such as Jeb Bush, Rubio and Christie. How about, FOR ONCE, we let them SPLIT THE RINO/”MODERATE”/Low Information vote in the primaries while a single strong conservative slides into the nomination. I would love to see Ted Cruz be that CONSENSUS conservative candidate.

I, for one, am tired of seeing DEFEATISTS promoting their brand of defeatism; specifically, the “let’s leave the Republican Party” brand of defeatism. If you feel strongly about wanting conservatives leading our country, stop whining & bellyaching and get off your dead asses and WORK TOWARD THE GOAL!!

And I’m tired of GOP apologists. The staff aids et all from janitor to Reeces pieces are corrupt. You put in as many conservatives as you want to a corrupt system this far gone and they get corrupted or sabotaged.

Deny reality all you like.

Could it be because George Soros and the Democratic Underground say so?

Lets put it to a vote.

What say you all? Is it because Me and George Soros are buddies or because HA here and ‘conservatives with his attitude can’t address the many points I made above without going full GOP apologist sanrk?

Keep spreading the word, there are a lot of folks out on the street who need to hear what Sarah Palin said on Saturday.

They don’t even know about this speech.

While I agree with all you’ve said about Sarah, I feel Rand Paul is getting very similar treatment. His rhetoric is not as strong as Gov Palin, but his position on illegal immigration is just as conservative as Palin or Cruz and I judge him by his positions on issues not his rhetoric.

You may be a true conservative who does not have the greatest judgement on how to preserve our Republic. Or you may be a member of the DU (a lot less likely). Whichever you are, the postings would be the same IMHO. Postings, whether the effect is intended or not, which encourage folks to, in essense, give up and move on to an approach which has never been productive (the minor 3rd party approach). An approach that will only benefit the progressives.

I’m not giving up as long as we have folks like Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin fighting. I’ve never been one to go for DEFEATISM or SURRENDER. Others have been and continue to be inclinded that way.

LOL! If you’re pals with Soros you need to get him to redistribute some of his wealth my way. Just ask him next time you see him. What’s the worst that could happen?

But seriously, I get sick of the false accusations of covert associations designed to dodge a good argument. Its a lefty tactic and for me it marks the accuser more than the accused.

There are lefty (or perhaps more likely ‘useful idiot’) tactics being employed—but not by me. Being against stupidity by alleged conservatives is not leftism.

What are you bumping? The title of the article is misleading. It's loaded with a stew of issues and probably should have been call "Scandals Galore! DC Major Failure."
