Republicans are "in a demographic death spiral" and will fail in their effort to win the presidency if the party blocks an immigration overhaul, a leading GOP senator said Sunday.
Sen. Lindsey Graham, the South Carolina Republican who helped write a bipartisan immigration bill under debate in the Senate, said conservatives who are trying to block the measure will doom the party and all but guarantee a Democrat will remain in the White House after 2016's election.
A Democrat also involved in developing the proposal, Sen. Robert Menendez of New Jersey, went a step further and predicted "there'll never be a road to the White House for the Republican Party" if immigration overhaul fails to pass.

The immigration bill must not even reach the floor of the house. Graham is an obvious democrat now and when democrats are concerned, do the opposite.

I don’t think amnesty is the way to Republican victory.
Republicans need to remember who they represent, and quit trying to snow us with things like amnesty. Call it “immigration reform” all you want, amnesty is still amnesty.
I would imagine even ol’ Strom would he turning cartwells still if he knew of Lindsey’s voting record. But the media keeps that record from the people of SC, who are clueless in that regard.

I think that most politicians in Washington DC are morons, regardless of political affiliation.
I believe he got it backward. The GOP will loose if the immigration bill is passed with weak border enforcement, access to welfare benefits, any path to citizenship, etc.
I enjoy Rush but he is mostly hot air. Rush has his money and would NEVER put his life and fortune on the line in the cause of Liberty.
Rush does not have 1/1000 the passion for Liberty that Mark Levin expresses nightly.
It is disappointing that Rush doesn't go after these GOPe by name and call them the traitors that they are to our Republic.

Don’t you find it strange when the excuse is being given that while the government knows whats going on in 300 million citizens lives but because the illegals are not citizens and in “the shadows” the US doesn’t know who they are or where they’re comming from so we must make them citizens..

There’s a inference but never referenced by name to the Gasden purchase and border settlements US made with Mexico where Obama hinted he seems to side with the Mexican claims. Would those in attendence share that view is a question that should be asked, because I believe they would,.he does.
FAVORED ABOVE OTHER “LATINO” COUNTRIES
The Mexicans have been getting most favorable treatment above the rest of our neighbors both north and south. They’re permitted to cross our borders and enter illegally and are allowed access to rights of citizenship (with the exception of voting which if the democrat party regains control over the House will happen) other nationals entering this country don’t get.
AMNESTY WORKS AGAINST OTHER “LATINO” QUOTAS AND OTHERS
Also by allowing Mexicans to do this any quota ration for immigration from other south and central American countrys are taken up by Mexicans while that country is laying claim to a large chunk of our sovereign territory.
ILLEGAL SQUATTERS ARE SUPPORTING MEXICAN CLAIMS
We are already seeing the result of this in certain areas claimed by the Mexicans. Their national flag (standard) gets displayed over ours. Where there is a controlling number of Mexican nationals (illegals). It’s displayed over certain institutions particularly schools accompanied by riots and disturbances. Blacks are threatend by Mexicans in certain sections of citys in those areas. We’re courting trouble by not placing a value on our sovereignty and our citizenship.
AMERICAN CITIZENS GET STIFFED BY MEXICAN CITIZENSHIP REGS
Worse yet if a US citizen goes into Mexico never mind illegaly but legally. They’ll get 2nd class treatment. Land ownership in title is prohibited period. And there are a slew of regulations they must comply with. Which doesn’t apply to a citizen of Mexico.
IS RECIPROCITY THE ANSWER
By not insisting on reciprocity particularly on those who have entered this country illegally we’re offering no incentive for assimilation and we’re not easing the burden for our fellow citizens who for what ever reason decided to live in Mexico.
ENOUGH OF THE ONE WORLD SOCIALISM ...BRING BACK SOVEREIGNTY AND SANITY TO OUR COUNTRY .....BRING BACK BELIEF IN GOD LETS GET THIS GOVERNMENT OUT OF OUR FACE..... OUR RELIGIONS..... AND OUR BEDROOMS..
With the immigration bill, the Republican Party is going to go the way of California’s Republican Party, like the Dodo bird.

By your own account, there will not be a vote counted from among the illegal Hispanics in 2016. Right? So, you're not going to get any votes from the people you're giving the vote. Right?
Yet, both polls of LEGAL Hispanics that I've seen, are 2-to-1 against amnesty. So, the GOP's chance of gaining any LEGAL Hispanic votes from amnesty are virtually zero.
And, may I assure you, the party isn't going to gain any votes from its "troglodyte, backward, Bible-thumping, bigoted asshole, redneck" base for having voted for amnesty.
So, just where the hell do you expect the GOP's 2016 votes to come from? Democrats?
If you hate your own voters so much, go ahead and piss them off. See what happens.
