After reports that Soledad O'Brien recently was booted from her morning show, “Starting Point,” the CNN anchor is saying she’s “really happy” with the way things turned out, even calling it a “win-win.”

Not a big fan of Soledad, but the two happiest days of my wife’s broadcast career were the day she got picked up for a morning drive show. And the day she left tHe morning drive show. The hours are murder. You NEVER get enough sleep.

Win or lose is her business but I applaud her for taking a decision to be positive.
The reason CNN fired her is the only question I have. Was she not liberal enough or was she too liberal. I saw her a few times and she appeared to me to be someone who could face reality when it was correctly presented.

Pretty easy actually. Management puts on a show with an untalened hack who is in the toilet for Obama and when the show fulfills the prophecy from everyday Republicans that it is gong to fail miserably and it does, they throw the hack under the bus. Wash, rinse and repeat.
What CNN needs is a two hour political show from 7pm to 9pm featuring Monica Crowley, Ann Coulter and Laura Ingraham. Call it Solid Gold. Every week, for one night add a fourth chair for the conservative point of view and a fifth chair for the liberal counterpoint.
First topic would be getting rid of Affirmatve Action. Herman Cain against Al Sharpton.

You should be more like that neighbor. He had the right attitude and that is why he was a winner at life. Why sit on the sidelines and complain about life and be jealous of people who are more productive than you? Life hands everyone problems, but this guy figured out how to turn a problem into a solution.
