I can’t believe 70% of voters have even heard of the events mentioned in these poll questions.
With all the drive by medias’ failure to report most of the scandals, I am surprised the numbers are so high.

The low information voters who work saw their taxes go up and it had no effect. When their rates go up, the propaganda machine kicks in blaming the evil insurance companies. Obama offers the low information voters a govt program of real cheap insurance via single payer, and they all will love him again.
No political opposition of merit, control of the propaganda outlets, control of the policing power, and control of the snooping capability against opponents. Obama is in the catbird seat.
He is in power until January of 2017.

For what? He’s not running for anything again.
His popularity is a nice metric, but he will not be on the ballot in 2014 (or 2016 for that matter). The more unpopular he is in November 2014 the more some people will turn out to vote for those who may constrain him, but I don’t think the LIV’s who think he is a “nice guy” will turn out in large numbers to vote for those who may support his policies and initiatives.
