Bush(43) won both his elections. In 2004, he increased the number of congressional seats. He is hardly a catastrophe.

Until 2006, when he lost BOTH chambers, but at least he 'had a Congress he could work with on comprehensive immigration.'

He did manage to collapse the economy and start the first bailout bills.

In '04 he and others warned barney frank, et al about the housing and banks would create a collapse and they fought back saying it will not happen. And clinton started it with his liberal handout of 'everyone owning a home' with no income verification. The committee, the warnings and the liberals fighting back are all on you tube. Yet, for some reason some are hell bent in believing Bush did manage to collapse the economy .
