They That Are Fated To Be Fools Have One Consolation

Marco Rubio told Sean Hannity yesterday that he had wanted border security before amnesty, but now thinks we need amnesty first so, in paying the government for their amnesty, we can use the illegal aliens’ to pay for securing the border. After all, the border will take several years to secure, so we should encourage people to cross the border illegally and forge documents to prove they’ve met the deadline. Then they can pay the feds to secure the border in even higher numbers. Or something like that.

While this is playing out, John McCain is demanding the President give arms to the Syrian rebels who may or may not be on our side after they kill off Assad. John Boehner has decided to vote for the farm bill, which is filled up with corporate waste, greed, and bribery. And I, having declared myself opposed to the immigration bill, but favoring not rounding up and shipping home 11 million people, am receiving hate mail from conservatives for daring to not want to throw every hispanic resident out of the country. Concurrently, Mario Lopez of the Hispanic Leadership Foundation has postponed a call in which he, a Republican, was going to declare much of the conservative movement racist for not supporting this harebrained Schumer amnesty scheme.

On top of that, Peter King and Lindsey Graham want to amend the First Amendment to silence dissent and Republicans in Congress have joined hands with Democrats to declare the NSA is a-okay.

The Republican Party as it exists in Washington, DC has lost all connection to its base and the pulse of liberty.

Marco Rubio has allowed himself to be used by the Democrats to divide his own party. The Democrats know the issue of immigration brings out the crazy on our side like most military issues do to the Democrats’ side. Rubio played, willingly, right into their hands. Now the Democrats and guys like Mario Lopez are screaming racism, much of the Republican base is doing its best to prove them right through over the top rhetoric, and the Democrats are thanking their god the GOP is now fighting itself instead of focusing on the IRS or using both the IRS and NSA matters to form a larger critique against big government.

On the House side, John Boehner intends to prove the crony capitalist critique of the GOP correct. He’ll vote for a bloated farm bill that subsidizes, funds, and kicks back whole industries that could not exist but for the congressional porkers in Washington.

This should not be happening in a party with a pulse, which makes one wonder if the party has one. Is this what it looked like as the Whigs fell apart? The Whigs divided over the issue of the day — slavery, in the face of a largely united Democratic Party front. Now, the GOP divides over the issue of the day — state power. Again, the Democrats are largely united.

They that are fated to be fools have one consolation — that they are also fated to be ignorant of it. Give amnesty so they can pay to close the border behind them. Really? Really?

While the evil Democratic Party has taken over the mantle of Communism the GOP is following them instead of trying to save our nation.

The GOP is allowing this country to be destroyed instead of picking up the banner, looking toward the Constitution fighting back. There may be one or two; Ted Cruz comes to mind, but I'm wondering if he'll go the way of Rubio and knuckle under to political correctness.

If this country continues to turns socialistic , it will be the fault of the GOP. They are responsible for everything that is happening to this country since they won't fight back and are knuckling under . They're too damned busy at the cocktail parties and schmoozing, lining their pockets while we're struggling to stay above water. The Republican Party will be responsible for the demise of this country. And history will show that.

We no longer have a voice. Americans may fight back, but we are quickly told to sit down and be quiet by the GOP leadership. Meanwhile no one in that giant, overpopulated body is jumping up and down in an order to keep the gigantic spy complex due to open for business in the Utah desert. This inaction alone by the GOP is reason enough for us to leave and combine the Tea Party and the Oath Keepers and fight both parties to the point of extinction!

As has been pointed out many times before:

If we were serious about controlling the border, physical features could be put in place within a month or two using donated labor, equipment, material and $$$$.

Closing the borders and enforcing the existing laws would not work right now because the morons in government ignored the law for the last 40 years.

So now we have generations of illegals who have never been to Mexico.

So what do we do with them?

FIRST we need to clamp down on the border, THEN we need to address those people already here, and we do need to do something... Guest worker status with NO voting priveleges would work for me. And immediatle begin 10 times stricter enforcement against EMPLOYERS who hire illegals without guest worker status

This gets everyone on-board.

Honestly, what happens to so many of these men (and women) we send to Washington that they become so corrupted by these fanciful claims and notions that never work? Is there something in the water? I certainly hope not (I work here).

We went from zero to a functioning atomic weapon during World War II in a matter of months, and most of what went into that device was built, invented or worked out along the way. We already HAVE the technology for an enhanced security in addition to the physical barrier, and sufficient manpower to actually ENFORCE the limits on entry.

It is a matter of lack of will, not money or the means to put a strong barrier in place.

Now is not the time to go wobbly, Senator Rubio.

GOP/e are as evil and corrupt as reid, pelosi or obama. THEY SLEEP WITH THE ENEMY! If the 70 in the House fail to stop this... we need to use them as a foundation to start a new party with 70 sitting members in Congress. IAMTHISCLOSE to NEVER voting for another republican ever!

They probably stop going to Church or Synagogue after they take their oath of office (with fingers crossed behind their backs).

There will always be traitors amongst us. As we were developing the Atomic Bomb Soviet spies were sending the recipe to Moscow.

Either these people have no idea what Pandora’s box they are opening, or they are cynical bastards and co-conspirators with those that would destroy our once free nation and reduce it to yet another happy-face socialist gulag.

We have more reason to secure our borders once and for all than we do using troops to bring ‘democracy’ to the muslims.

If we think America is a democratic nation we’d better think again.

Ib, I believe we are past the point of no return. The old “soap box, ballot box...” meme comes to mind. I believe our soap boxes have been stomped to splinters by the NSA. The ballot box has been corrupted and is nothing more than a turkey to be stuffed with fake ballots. We all know what box remains, and that is solely OURS!

After all, the border will take several years to secure,

The Administration virtually stop all illegal border crossings today, if they had the will to do so. All they would have to do is declare the flood of illegals to be an invasion, that we are deploying military units to make it stop, and that anyone performing an illegal border crossing is subject to being shot on sight.

Add to that, that any illegal caught in the US will be subject to internment in a fenced tent city on the border, without bail, until either his appeal comes up, or he volunteers to return home. They will go home.

I think we should build a massive wall using convicted illegal alien criminals for labor. They can make adobe bricks and carry rocks out there in the desert sun while they serve out their sentences, Cool Hand Luke style.

There is something very wrong going on here.

Polling consistently shows that way over 60% of the American people oppose this and the numbers are mostly in the 67-82% opposition range, depending on the particular poll.

I could not find one that even went below 60% opposition for this amnesty.

Not even a majority legal Hispanic citizens support this bill.

This monstrosity is being rammed down our throats just like ObamaCare bill was and it is even worse than ObamaCare.

You can tell they are lying out their teeth because the number they are using for the number of illegals eligible for amnesty, 11 million illegals residing in this country, is actually 1 million people LESS the the low ball estimate of 12 million that has been used, unchanged from 1998, up to this point.

This is despite the conservatively estimated influx of at least 1.5 million illegals per year for 15 years, which is consistent with census data which would give 22.5 million new illegals entering the country on top of the 12 million already here in 1998 that the media has been using as it’s low ball generally accepted number for the last 15 years and up until now.

This gives a total of more like 35 million illegals in the US , which is consistent with the rise in Hispanic presence we have seen since 1998, and is consistent with both the population increase numbers from the US census and the de population numbers we see from similar data in Mexico and Central America.

This 35 million newly legal residents, which represents more than 1 in 10 of the 312 million total people living in the US, is enough new people to swamp and overwhelm the 280 million legal citizens, especially at the voting booths despite their ineligibility to vote in most elections.

The sheer Orwellian dishonesty of the estimate of 11 million illegals who will benefit from the amnesty put forth by it’s backers full court press of media propaganda should be enough to clue us in and doom the bill.

Do they really think we are stupid enough to buy the line that the number of illegal aliens in the US has dropped by 1 million people in the last 15 years?

I am all for a plan to provide legal status for hard working, productive people with no criminal record, but if this bill is so flawed, if it it passes, it will literally destroy our county and we know it.

It will transform the US into Venezuela and the US will be run into the ground just Chavez did to Venezuela.

With the right information in the hands of one's opponents, one can be made to support anything. We now know about the NSA - but I expect there is also plenty of "incident manufacturing" going on.

Outspoken conservatives used to exist in larger numbers, then they dwindled, now they stop being outspoken conservatives for more than six months after taking a Federal office, at least on certain issues that might slow down The Agenda. Somebody is making some form of credible threat against them, and I don't think it's anything as banal as losing the perks of their offices.

Ted Cruz is perhaps the ultimate test case. If and when he starts speaking RINO, you will know there is no hope.

Hate to have to tell you, but those are US citizens, for better or for worse. They are the anchor babies.

As to Senor Rubio’s thinking it will take years to secure the border, nonsense, enforce the law against employers who hire illegals, cut off welfare to illegals and they will self deport muy pronto.
