Now, this WaPo piece was written before the startling revelation that the list would no longer be maintained by the DNC.
An American Thinker column covered ORGANIZIANG FOR AMERICA (OFA's) reorganization, noting that many Democrat strategists seemed not only surprised, but also uncomfortable with the idea that Obama's massive campaign organization would not be folding back into the DNC as it did after the 2008 election. As Politico noted, other Democrat-supporting groups and wealthy donors apparently folded into it (or are at least closely "affiliated"), such as mega-contributor George Soros, Media Matters, and the Center for American Progress. In addition, besides Plouffe, other familiar names in the OFA circle came from the inner circle of Obama's administration: David Axelrod, Stephanie Cutter, Jim Messina, Robert Gibbs, and Jon Carson.

With the news that Obama has overseen the NSA's secret collection of a huge database of information, while at the same time maintaining "close ties" to other organizations that operate massive databases dedicated to promoting his own policies, we should be alarmed at the potential such relationships could provide. Did we see but a hint of that potential in the recent actions of the IRS?

Maxine Waters said that Obama had a database on voters that they could not begin to fathom.
Pairing the phone networking tying persons together and the tap of Google search/browsing histories, they can build up a profile.
Who knows what the end goal of all of this data collection is. It certainly isn’t for national security (having seen good field data on the Boston bombers rejected as well as known contact between Nadil Hasan and Al Qaeda suppressed).
But maybe it is for document dumping when a “critic” comes forward (like Joe the Plumber, who never sought the spotlight when Senator Obama came to his town and insisted that it would be much better to spread the wealth around). Joe was referenced in the final 2008 presidential debate and the media immediately went into CYA mode, initially claiming that “Joe the Plumber” was just a term like “Joe Six-Pack”, an everyman sort of Joe. Then unelected Democrats abused the powers of their jobs to dig for dirt and release it to the media, that he wasn’t really a plumber, that he possibly owed people money, etc.
Whenever there is a shooting incident, the media grasps at straws to try to find ties between the shooter and the “Tea Party”. Now if they could show phone activity between that person and an office or leader...
Don’t forget that every bit of information that was gleaned in the census is also being used and abused by these people. They made sure the White House took control of that once non-partisan process which was handled by the likes of Cutter and her crew.
They'd decided the district is too crowded and has too much dangerous traffic to do a lot of in your face stuff so they opted to use ROBO CALLS.
This guy Barker had the DNC calling, Obama calling, Fairfax Democrats calling, Alexandria Democrats calling, the Congressional District calling, the Senator Warner calling, his own campaign committee calling, ...... and a bunch of others.
At the peak we got 18 calls in one day for just this one idiot.
Then, toward the end of the campaign this gray haired old biddy shows up ~ you could tell she was a school teacher because she automatically looked for a way down the stairs and out when she found out I wanted her to come in and listen to 3 hours of Barker campaign calls that my answering machine had recorded.
She almost fell on her run down the concrete steps to her car, and laid a bit of rubber getting out of there.
So, Hussein has a data base and his legion of America's stupidest geeks are going to do what with it?
