(FULL TITLE: "'I'm neither a traitor nor a hero... I'm an American': NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden finally breaks cover - and vows to expose MORE secrets")
Edward Snowden, the former CIA analyst behind one of the most significant government leaks in U.S. history, has vowed to expose further surveillance secrets as he speaks out again.
The 29-year-old whistleblower remained defiant in an interview with the South China Morning Post on Wednesday and said he will stay in Hong Kong to fight any extradition bid from the U.S.
Snowden fled to Hong Kong from his home in Hawaii on May 20 after leaking sensitive documents about the National Security Agency's tracking programs.
His actions have been both praised and condemned globally, with some hailing him a hero while others, including House Speaker John Boehner, calling him a traitor.

He dropped a pretty cute girlfriend...
The lucky ones find the whole package (ask me how I know!) :D
I hope the whistleblower tells us all the criminal abuses on the hidden policies. We may end up hating most everyone in D.C. or feeling comfort in knowing why they do not fight for America's values. I hope they do not murder him.
I don’t question his loyalty, but I question his wisdom in going to hide in a territory of China and expecting them to help him or for him to remain free.
I call him a patriot for releasing the initial information, but if people end up getting killed because of any further information he is going to release, then he is making his own bed.
I fully expect this guy to get either dead or disappeared very soon now.

You need to quit reading those spy novels and watching those old James Bond movies. Try a little Victor Hugo, Jane Austin or Dickens and definitely take a break from FR. Less coffee is also advised. ;)
Our heroes include Snowden, theirs include Sandra Fluke. Nuff said.
He is threatening to reveal more secrets. If it is determined that he HAS secrets that put our country at risk, wouldn’t it be proper for our government to treat him as an enemy combatant, and certainly killing him would prevent him from releasing harmful information.
It would certainly be smarter for him to keep his mouth shut about future intentions to betray his country.
What I find most interesting is that he chose a foreign newspaper to reveal his secrets.
It says a lot about the state of the US main-stream media. Which US media outlet is not highly politicized, ideological or not subject to political pressure and threats?
So if he thinks he is innocent why is he on the run? I think he protests too much.
U.S. Media ... paid performers of the State ... Pravda anyone?
“Snowden’s whereabouts in Hong Kong are still unknown”
Being a white guy in Hong Kong, he ought to stick out like a sore thumb.
Fair enough but I wouldn't want to trust you in a foxhole. If you disagreed with the way the general was conducting the war, you might tell our plans to the world.
There is a link on Drudge that this whole thing could be overstated or story could be “unraveling”.. We shall see.
Are you listening you useless horrible POS Boener?
Read the comments below that article!!!!
There is ANOTHER spook trying to be heard,,come on you guys. ‘Filament’ and he claims Hillary has helped him at some point.
What I find most interesting is that he chose a foreign newspaper to reveal his secrets.

You make an excellent point.
But note that the Washington Post was given the same information by Snowden and didn’t break the story. Which just reemphasizes your point.
He would have to beat zer0, hillary, panetta and a whole host of others there first to tell the plan. Think I’m kidding?
I’ll check it out. Interesting.
