SAN JOSE, Calif. — President Barack Obama on Friday encouraged the uninsured or those paying high prices for health insurance to sign up for coverage under his health care law and urged opponents to stop wasting time continuing to fighting its implementation.

Obama used a trip to California to highlight how the state is implementing the Affordable Care Act and rebut continuing criticism over his signature legislative achievement. He touted an effort in the state to recruit Hispanics in particular to the health care exchanges that are being created to help millions of now-uninsured consumers afford coverage.

They’ll ruin you financially, first.

I knew one guy who ran afoul of the IRS who claims (”claims,” mind you) that the IRS leaked information that he was cheating on his wife in order to tap into all of his accounts when the inevitable divorce proceedings uncovered all his holdings.

And, yes, he was cheating...as was she...

It was an unhealthy situation and the IRS got their money.

Maybe he has finally reached the limits of his arrogance.

I'm sure the limit of his arrogance is infinity...

I’m not in need of your assistance, thanks. Try the local homeless shelter.

They’ll garnish your bank account, if you have one.

Keep everything in cash, and they’ll hit your paycheck.

There’s no escaping this thing. It’ll collapse of its own weight, eventually. In the meantime, sit back and try to figure out how to profit from it.

I’ve increased my exposure to those insurance companies that paid the most bribes to Congress. All three stocks are way up, already.

You might try re-engineering yourself into someone more presentable.

Dress better. Get your GED. Learn to tie a tie.

I would like to see what some of those young people that voted for this will say when they find out it’s not free (if they actually have a job).

They don’t have the authority to do that now, I bet they will get that authority very soon.

The last I read from the IRS the only thing they can do as of right now is withhold out of any return you have coming. I’ll have to look at their regs and see if they have changed that already.

I’m sure his arrogance is infinite. I was referring to the public’s tolerance of it.

I’m just f****ing around, waiting for supper.

It’s these old guys who think posting angrily on an internet forum will assert their masculinity who are a little tiresome.

(Also, occasionally, I’ll unearth a clever, educated and rational person who’ll blow my socks off and shut me up real good. That’s such a pleasure after dealing with hairy-chested types here for years!)

That illegal and unconstitutional power won’t go into effect until Jan 2014, per ACA. If you have direct deposit for SSI or tax refunds, gov’t payroll checks, gov’t pensions etc, they already have your account and routing numbers. Direct deposit will be required, per ACA, for all such gov’t transactions, by mid-2014. No more paper checks. They WILL have access.
