Actress Katee Sackoff said she lost half of her Twitter followers when she tweeted a message urging people to practice gun safety.
After watching a television report about a four-year-old who accidentally shot and killed his father with a loaded gun that had been left unattended at a friend’s house, the “Battlestar Galactica” star tweeted Monday:
“Please practice gun safety. This is horrible!”
Soon after, Sackoff’s Twitter feed blew up with followers advocating gun control instead of gun safety.
“Here's a radical idea folks. How about NO gun?” one wrote.
Sackoff responded to her critics: “Never gonna happen in the US. Proper gun safety is a necessity though.”

I grew up in a small town and it was a while ago, but it seemed at the time that every kid was taught gun safety. The rules really come down to commons sense. But that seems to escape a lot of people.
I know her. She is Howard Wolowitz’s fantasy girl. Now the Battlestar Galactica reference makes sense.
No doubt those “followers” were following some marching orders from the RATs or other group they belong to that tells them what to do and think.
It is amazing how differently Leftists view the relationship between sex and children, versus guns and children. Pushing for sex education how-to classes and free condoms, while have a zero tolerance for even mentioning guns.
Conservatives on the other hand think kids should know about both, when age appropriate, and think that only responsible people should have sex or firearms. But among responsible people, the free practice of sex and firearms should be celebrated (one privately one however you wish).
Her twitter account was grabbed by the NSA who in turn notified Axelrod who in turn notified Organizing for America who by secret email accounts notified the minions to attack. Axelrod called the IRS too so she should be on the lookout for an audit happening soon.
As long as she was advocating gun safety, I agree.

I just followed her. I always enjoyed her on Battlestar Galactica after I got over the idea that Starbuck was no longer a guy. :-) This is just another example of a rabidly intolerant left. Its not ok to support gun safety because it interferes with the meme that all guns are bad. Its not ok to simply be tolerant of lgbt or even silent you have to go along with all the propaganda or you are a hater. Its not ok to be supportive of energy efficiency and limiting pollution you have to be all in on spending trillions of dollars combating a mythical global warming.
That’s because all those issues are proxy issues.
Its amazing how all of the sudden they are in love with Liberace who took a 16 year old foster kid and groomed him into a lover. Leftists are all into that kind of thing. They also don’t want it to be suggested that kids not participate in high risk sexual behaviors.
