Main Core: A List Of Millions Of Americans That Will Be Subject To Detention During Martial Law
By Michael Snyder
June 10th, 2013
Are you on the list? Are you one of the millions of Americans that have been designated a threat to national security by the U.S. government? Will you be subject to detention when martial law is imposed during a major national emergency? As you will see below, there is actually a list that contains the names of at least 8 million Americans known as Main Core that the U.S. intelligence community has been compiling since the 1980s. A recent article on Washingtons Blog quoted a couple of old magazine articles that mentioned this program, and I was intrigued because I didnt know what it was. So I decided to look into Main Core, and what I found out was absolutely stunning especially in light of what Edward Snowden has just revealed to the world. It turns out that the U.S. government is not just gathering information on all of us. The truth is that the U.S. government has used this information to create a list of threats to national security that the government would potentially watch, question or even detain during a national crisis. If you have ever been publicly critical of the government, there is a very good chance that you are on that list.
The following is how Wikipedia describes Main Core
Main Core is the code name of a database maintained since the 1980s by the federal government of the United States. Main Core contains personal and financial data of millions of U.S. citizens believed to be threats to national security. The data, which comes from the NSA, FBI, CIA, and other sources, is collected and stored without warrants or court orders. The databases name derives from the fact that it contains copies of the main core or essence of each item of intelligence information on Americans produced by the FBI and the other agencies of the U.S. intelligence community.
It was Christopher Ketchum of Radar Magazine that first reported on the existence of Main Core. At the time, the shocking information that he revealed did not get that much attention. That is quite a shame, because it should have sent shockwaves across the nation
According to a senior government official who served with high-level security clearances in five administrations, There exists a database of Americans, who, often for the slightest and most trivial reason, are considered unfriendly, and who, in a time of panic, might be incarcerated. The database can identify and locate perceived enemies of the state almost instantaneously. He and other sources tell Radar that the database is sometimes referred to by the code name Main Core. One knowledgeable source claims that 8 million Americans are now listed in Main Core as potentially suspect. In the event of a national emergency, these people could be subject to everything from heightened surveillance and tracking to direct questioning and possibly even detention.
Of course, federal law is somewhat vague as to what might constitute a national emergency. Executive orders issued over the last three decades define it as a natural disaster, military attack, [or] technological or other emergency, while Department of Defense documents include eventualities like riots, acts of violence, insurrections, unlawful obstructions or assemblages, [and] disorder prejudicial to public law and order. According to one news report, even national opposition to U.S. military invasion abroad could be a trigger.
So if that list contained 8 million names all the way back in 2008, how big might it be today?
(snip)
I hope I’m on the list.
Hate to think of myself as irrelevant....
Like I said I’m done wasting time on you.
What were and are all of those peasants lacking?
What do you mean we, Kimosabi?
Of course no one would notice and the word wouldn't spread. I know liberals aren't very bright.
The homeless utterly disappear from the news the day any democrat is elected president, how many notice that?
Are you a member? Do you know of anyone who is?
They'll dump them all in Alaska
How exactly will these millions be transported?
Why do you find it necessary to repeat yourself? Are you hard of hearing?
Oh, good point. The full might of the US government is incapable of transporting anyone anywhere.
I guess we’re all safe then, aren’t we?
Because YOU are hard of listening.
I would be embarrassed to find out I wasn't on it, myself. After all this effort... ;-)
Back in the ‘70’s and ‘80’s, I used to listen to a lot of shortwave radio. I sent reception reports to stations all over the world: BBC, Radio Nederland, HCBJ, but also Moscow, Peking, and Havana. They would send a QSL card acknowledging the report, magazines, pennants, etc. Radio Havana was sending quarterly schedules to my parents’ house long after I moved out.
Talk among shortwave listeners was that this kind of popular, common, and innocent activity could get you an FBI file. I was just a teenager with a hobby that opened the world to me. If I already have a file, then my associations here and other places must give the authorities a kind of confusing profile.
Since I’m probably on The List anyway, I plan to keep doing what I have always done: thinking, believing, reading, writing, saying and listening to what I want. Those are my God-given rights as a free-born man and I am not going to give them up for any man — least of all the loathesome sons-of-bitches that my some of my fellow-citizens have enabled to take over my country.
And if I’m not on The List already, then that last sentence there will probably gain me admission.
LIVE FREE OR DIE!
Not many people actually care. They don't disappear in Alaska. We've got shelters and soup kitchens.
Good! Set a table for 8 million!
How in heck would these 8 million + people be contained? Resistance would not be futile.

Why would you think they would be contained?
Bullets are cheap. And they already have them.
Dito for me except Retired USAF Senior Master Sergeant and I’ve got a few months TIS on you re: Free Republic... ;-)

Write and continue to write congressmen and congresswomen about government intrusion into our private lives.
Oathkeepers member.
Never purchased a weapon requiring a background check or form to the government of any kind. AND gladly stating I own a few weapons. AND FIRMLY state that is none of the government’s business.
In fact, none of this web site or thread is any of their business and the INDIVIDUALS who may be monitoring or authorizing monitoring it are in violation of the US Constitution and whatever oath to it they may have sworn—traitors at worst, criminals at best.
It should be US coming for THEM.
Don't you believe the other millions will feel left out?
