Not true. In the initial interviews released by the Guardian newspaper, he definitely did not say or indicate in any way that he had 0bama's emails.

Snowden was talking generally about the snooping capabilities of a person with the clearances he had. He was listing an example of the people he could spy on "including a president, if I had a valid email address." I am paraphrasing but he definitely said "a president" not "the president."

If there are updated quotes from Snowden of his lawyer or the journalist contact, I will be interested to hear them. The journalist did say there was a lot more significant information forthcoming.

Logic would tell us that it's not they that they are really going after this Snowden guy since the cat is already out of the bag.... no, what they are going to attempt to do is damage control and stop the news and communication of this from going out to the masses.

This is certainly a nuissance. It’s stories like these that remind me why I moved to China in 2010 and feel no motivation to return to the USA. Besides, there are better job opportunities in China anyway. If America wants to self destruct willingly that’s fine, but I don’t want to live in a country where I must live on food stamps and welfare checks and make calls on my Obamaphone. Some people such as me take pride in having a job and not wanting to depend on government handouts.

The answer to your question is yes. It’s strange but when I had to visit Hong Kong for 2 weeks, I actually felt safer in Beijing than in Hong Kong. I don’t know why though. Perhaps in Hong Kong it’s because they broadcast too many commercials calling for you to snitch on your friends and family to the cops if they are committing crimes. Funny, you don’t see those ads in Beijing. Hong Kong even showed commercials where you are required to call a police hotline if you see a puddle of stagnant water. And if you are caught littering you face up to 10 years imprisonment in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, Soros hired labor union thugs in Hong Kong to launch strikes to ruin his Hong Kong competitors.
