If he doesn't beat out Mallet, not a given since Mallet's been working in the Pat's system for a couple of years, then he's third string. How will he take that?

I predict that he's not going to play much -- if at all -- as a QB in New England.
He's simply not an NFL-caliber quarterback, but he's a marvelous athlete who can be molded to play a few different positions.
