EXCLUSIVE: The controversial filmmaker whose crude Internet trailer was wrongly blamed by the White House for sparking last year's deadly Benghazi attack vowed to finish his movie, which he said is aimed at fighting terrorism, not denigrating Islam.
Breaking his silence from inside a facility under the authority of the federal Bureau of Prisons in southern California, Nakoula Basseley Nakoula told FoxNews.com in a series of phone interviews that his film "Innocence of Muslims" has been widely misunderstood, and not just in being singled out as causing the Sept. 11, 2012, attack that left U.S. Ambassador to Libya J. Christopher Stevens and three other Americans dead....

Prior to our learning that it had caused Muslim riots and outrage all over the world, I think it had been viewed a grand total of about 3 times (probably by Hillary's staff).
Mostly dead all day?
You DIDN'T see the 'film'. What you saw was a crudely edited 'video' taken from the 'film', with dubbed in ENGLISH.
As far as I can tell, this guy really had nothing to do with the video that appeared on YOUTUBE, other than it was taken from the 'rushes' of his 'film'.
It is obvious that experienced, professional 'filmmakers' were not involved in making the 'video', but more likely helpful idiots under Hillary's control.
“I saw the film. It stinks.”
If you hated that one, you should see the film Frank Marshall Davis made of Obama’s white mother on all fours.
And that's being gracious.
He’s still in jail as a political prisoner so as to exonerate the current occupant of the oval office.
There was no trial.
Good he and all the rest of us have every right to criticize Mohammed all he wants. That shouldn’t even be a question.
What should be questioned is the fanatical zeal of M’s followers who dare try to control other people.
They got him on a technicality, saying that uploading the video to youtube was a violation of his probation, which said he couldn’t use computers due to his fraud conviction.
He's still in jail? What's he charged with?
What ever happened to speedy trial?
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.
Why is he in California? The film was made out of his home and office in Florida.
“I saw the film. It stinks. He should not waste any time finishing it.”
He doesn’t need to finish it, he just needs to threaten to finish it. With all the uproar the trailer caused, I’m sure someone will pay him NOT to finish filming it.
Madoff investors may have found a new home for their surplus cash.
I really do think he should give up his dream of being a great film producer like Alfred Hitchcock; however, I’d pay big bucks to see a big budget Hollywood film on the Jihadist aspect of Islam.
But that is so not going to happen...
Ha ha ha....
If the goal was artistry, it’s a loss, but maybe he wanted to make a political or religious statement.
That’ll take all of what, a half-hour?
“Interesting thought: how did the powers that be behind Democrats Obama and Clinton just happen to pull this guy out of hat for his totally obscure video and make him the fall guy for Benghazi?”
I think the recent revelations about the NSA and other goings on make that an easy question to answer.
Hillary was almost panicking when she felt compelled to specifically deny the US government had anything to do with the anti-Islamic video. Nakoula was/is probably some kind of informant or plant who can be traced to some part of the US government.
It does make you wonder. Possibilities..
There is no way they would have caught him on this technicality had State not tried to scapegoat him. As such, I think he should be considered a political prisoner.
He should re-cut and open with a shot of Bella Lugosi walking out of his bungalow...
