EXCLUSIVE: The controversial filmmaker whose crude Internet trailer was wrongly blamed by the White House for sparking last year's deadly Benghazi attack vowed to finish his movie, which he said is aimed at fighting terrorism, not denigrating Islam.
Breaking his silence from inside a facility under the authority of the federal Bureau of Prisons in southern California, Nakoula Basseley Nakoula told FoxNews.com in a series of phone interviews that his film "Innocence of Muslims" has been widely misunderstood, and not just in being singled out as causing the Sept. 11, 2012, attack that left U.S. Ambassador to Libya J. Christopher Stevens and three other Americans dead....

Didn't Bill Killian say allowing him to live would be Islamophobic?
Apparently the execution was botched, he’s not quite dead.
I forgot the charges that landed him in jail. Could someone educate me?
Actually, he’s feeling better!
this administration just can’t do anything right. ha.
If he’s any kind of REAL filmmaker, I think he’s got a whole new story to tell. And a new film that lots of people would pay to see.
IF he’s smart.
I think it was some violation of parole or something. I could be wrong, though.
Exactly. He has a new story to tell.
He’s scheduled to be released from prison on Sept. 26th. Do you really think he’ll live that long? Don’t be surprised if he gets stabbed to death after an “altercation” with another inmate.
I believe it was for violating the terms of his parole .... banking fraud. BTW .... I saw the film. It stinks. He should not waste any time finishing it.
Thanks. That was it.
The article explains it.
Supposedly he was paroled in the past for some kind of internet-related scam. And one condition of parole was not to put stuff on the internet.
Interesting thought: how did the powers that be behind Democrats Obama and Clinton just happen to pull this guy out of hat for his totally obscure video and make him the fall guy for Benghazi?
One second he’s going his way, doing his thing whatever it was, in virtual obscurity, next second he’s an international villain and his “production” and subsequent arrest for parole violation is the biggest story out there, absolutely integral to their desperate LIE about Benghazi.
How convenient.
Spying on Americans, maybe??
Actually this administration can’t do anything >wrong< right.
Probation violation.
