Here we go again. Another person forced out of business because he won't bend over for the lavender mafia.

They didn’t want a wedding cake. If they did, they wouldn’t have gone to a bakery that has “history of turning away same-sex couples”.

They just wanted to start something.

Whatever happened to “We have the right to refuse service to anyone”?

This is going to be awful but I am so sick, SICK, of the homosexuals cramming their chit down our throats. People should decline to make the cake if it is against their beliefs and if the homosexuals insist YOU MUST be slave to their beliefs and not your own...well, it would be so sad if something nasty landed in their cake.

Earth to gays.

You have demonstrated that evidently gay genes come in pairs...one for gay behavior and the twin for stupidity and obnoxious behavior.

We have a fix for that stupid part...GO TO ANOTHER BAKERY, idiots.

If I owned a bakery, I could get around this. I’d be nice to the couple, very willing to please, excited that they can finally share their love openly...I’d deliver a beautiful cake, lovely as a spring day on the outside....and nasty as all get out on the inside.

Of course, I’d be appalled and saddened at the total failure to add vanilla or the proper amount of sugar or egg..or the use of cornmeal instead of flour. The cannister, somehow, was labeled wrong.

I’d refund their money and be so sad over the mistae, itd be quite pitiful.

Really. If gays are gonna sue bakeries, at least let it be over a legitimate mistake...

Libertarians are naively telling social Conservatives to give up on fighting gay marriage. Gay rights advocates want more than marriage they want group think.

The states have never amended the Constitution to protect so-called gay rights. So constitutonally express religious protections trump state gay protections.

Also gay protections advocates cannot hide behind 14th Amendment equal protections clause to justify such protections. This is because, since Section 2 of 14A discriminates on basis of sex, the equal protections clause was clearly not intended to apply to sex.

The reason we are wasting time with such controvercies is because parents are not making sure that their children are being taught the Constitution as constitutional lawmakers had intended for it to be understood.

Why do the gays have to be such bigots? Why do they have to target businesses who do not hold their beliefs or want to do business with them?

Geez....just go give your business to someone else.

To answer the question: How does our gay marriage affect you? You either acknowledge it and bake our cake or we’ll sue your pants off.

This isn’t about cake but rather the destruction of religious beliefs.

It is interesting: private businesses can refuse to serve those open carrying. Even though carrying a firearm is a constitutional right.

Yet they apparently can’t refuse to serve homos, although faggotry is not a constitutional right.

I hope an attorney out there points this out to the Supreme Court. This is madness.

Throw them a bone so they can stay in business.

Notice that these troublemakers aren't claiming that businesses are refusing serve to them simply on the basis of their "orientation". IOW, they don't seem to be having any luck being denied normal commerce (say, in buying random flower arrangements or boxes of cookies), even though they likely telegraph their perversions via overt body language and/or other non-verbal signals in hopes of a dust up.

No, they purposely bully *wedding* cake bakers, *wedding* planners, *wedding* photographers, and florists for *wedding* flowers, agitating for these specific services. In doing so they force the businesses to either contract into (i.e. validate) what is a brazen lie, or be legally persecuted for refusing to exchange the truth for that lie.

These malicious malcontents aren't *merely* trying to suppress and stomp out subjective religious beliefs... they are in all-out war against reality itself. The truth is that there is no such thing as a same-sex "marriage", but having the beast system on their side embracing the lie, they feel perfectly free to terrorize those whose core values remain firmly grounded in reality.

Bowing down is the expected position these days. You either bow down or get fined and prosecuted to death.

The latest wave of laws on abortion and gay marriage are meant to make it impossible to hold beliefs, religious or otherwise, in contradiction to those of the state. That's a somewhat new phenomenon in the United States, but a familiar one in Europe. And the consequence of these Orwellian measures is the stratification of these societies into three categories.
