A Washington IRS attorney named Carter Hull closely oversaw the targeting of conservative nonprofit groups and suggested questions that IRS employees could ask of conservative and Tea Party groups applying for tax-exempt nonprofit status, according to interviews that two IRS employees gave with congressional investigators.
I was essentially a front person, because I had no autonomy or no authority to act on [applications] without Carter Hulls influence or input, said Elizabeth Hofacre, an employee of the Cincinnati IRS office, according to a new report in the Wall Street Journal.
Hofacres office, which oversaw tax-exempt applications, reportedly requested help from the agencys Exempt Organizations Technical unit in Washington, D.C. in 2010 to deal with an influx of new applications from Tea Party groups.

We know there are people who worked for Romney who are anti-Republican and virulently anti-Conservative. They’re not getting a pass and neither is he. If there’s the slightest involvement by a RINO or one of his running dog lackeys we need to know that now so we can get rid of them.

I guess the biggest question now with this administration is finding out whether Carter Hull is a real person.

Obama ordered his IRS and other agencies to shut down all opposition to him , including tea party groups,Obama’s IRS and many other gov agencies shut down the whole tea party movement. many groups and individual donors to Republicans were scared of the IRS or didn't want to become public so they didn't become donors. IRS also leaked republican donors to liberal groups . many more things. plus other agencies joined in
you defend the IRS, you defend Obama. you defend evil, tyranny, oppression and big government. what you do is unconscionable .you are a democrat/liberal mole .

No, Conservatives went out and voted but the failure occurred back between "W"'s second election victory and McCain's nomination. That's where we forgot to get an additional 5 million new registered Republican voters!
We were unable to replace dead baby boomer Republicans, and there was no growth in registrations. Later on, after that disaster, Republicans did manage to get 5 million more people lined up for the election, but we didn't make up for the Democrat's 10 million extra voters they'd had in 2008.
We might ask why the party did not have a major registration campaign between 2004 and 2008 ~ too many Rinos perhaps?

Hull-here comes the next chief justice when holder is asked to resign. Hussein is in the habit of replacing evil with people more vile than the last.
We are in for a very very rough slough through the next 3-1/2 years. Unless the GOP grows a pair - AND FAST - they will lose the House in 2014 and slide into obscurity in this decade. Look for Palin/West/Levin/Bachmann to start something soon - America cannot continue on this course.

Yes, we are fighting both sides of the aisle.
I watched the IRS hearings. It seemed to me about 25% of the GOP reps are willing and able to engage the Dems. That means we have about 50 patriots on Capitol Hill. 50 out of 535 people in the House/Senate is not good odds. Add in weak, self-serving leadership from Boehner & McConnell and you can see what a disaster it is.

If all Carter Hull did was prepare explanatory training guides and answer questions addressed to him by the field people, he's not the one ~ try LOIS LERNER ~ she was doing this stuff at a high level at FEC, so we should not be surprised she would do it at IRS.
Lois shows signs of having the sort of dissociative personality that allows her to imagine she is always moral and everybody else is her enemy to be abused in any way possible.

Having just read through the training material he wrote I’d suggest Carter would be just about the smartest appointee ever given a job by Obama ~ as it is he’s just a government staff lawyer.

You make up stuff you interfere with the ongoing investigation into what really happened. You sure you want to be part of stopping the works?
Find the crime ~ separate the innocent from the guilty ~ and move out lawfully. That's the way to do it. Being wildly indignant about anything and everything will usually harm the innocent, promote the interests of the guilty, and cost us all a lot more in taxes to make up for the damage.

This is complete BS! Download a
copy of IRS publication 1023. This is the form 501 seeking organizations have to fill out to apply.
AFAIK, there's nothing else required except maybe some financial info, although there's a place in the application for that.
Form 1023 is 26 pages long and appears pretty daunting until you realize it's a general purpose for for all 501 applications.
As I recall (I've helped two non-profits with the application process), we used only about 10 or so of the 26 pages. The unused pages were for other different types of 501 organizations.

I think Carter Hull did this under the direction of former IRS Commissioner Doug Shulman, and Shulman got his “marching orders” from somewhere very high up inside the White House staff—Valerie Jarrett, David Axelrod, Rahm Emanuel or even Timothy Geithner comes to mind....

Obama and the IRS personnel involved are engaged in a treasonous criminal conspiracy. You can call it politics, but I am ready for a revolution. I cannot have my children living in a Country that accepts any part of this lawlessness.
This certainly isn't politics as usual, even as dirty and low as politics does get. This is criminal and someone needs to go to jail. (And the threat of jail will get that someone talking about who he took orders from.)
