Way things have been going, folks is Oklahoma are gonna get screwed by this somehow.
Well, to everyone within the range of this typing, (Central LA) (and for the low-information voters, that is NOT Los Angeles, y’awl!):

2. Git yer, if ya’s ain’t gots it now, ammo!! Ol’ Uncle Sam ain’t been so fast these days, so ya’s might have to shoo away some folks. (All d’at you’s got it n’ it belongs to me, don’ help none after a storm come by.)
3. Make sure ya’s got books, no, not THAT kind, Mama will smack you for that, and put ‘em in one-a them zippy bags, for when the lights don’ woik.

5. For you’s who do d’at, iffen ya’s not done d’is yet, now might jes’ be da time, to git yo’ Granny’s ol’ beat up Bible. Why? Don’ ya’s t’ink d’at all d’at prayin’ she was a-doin’ might be inside d’at book? Might be good to go and find one or two d’at might do you’s, and us, good.

I’m actually hoping we get some of it here in central TX—at least the rain part. We are parched here. My town has had us on water restrictions for months, and I heard today they will raise it from a level 1 (You can only water one day a wk,) to a level 2, you can only water 1 day every other week.
Lake Travis is very low, too.
I wondered where all this damn rain came from today.
