One thing's for sure, however: you really can't go wrong with Olbermann on baseball. Though he has gotten into trouble everywhere he's worked, his baseball knowledge is unassailable.
That's true. He can be funny too. His ideal job would be to replace that lady on the Yankee radio broadcasts, but I don't know if his physical or mental health would allow it.

Don’t know this guy very well; isn’t he sort of a Blockhead?
Personally, I’d MUCH prefer Smoltz.

I never watch baseball on TV, and I’ll watch even less knowing that Olberdouche is covering it.

I’m no Keith Olbermann fan. He is the worst of the worst (almost) amongst the lib talking heads. But, as I recall, he was a pretty decent sports guy. I say give him chance. Keep him in sports so we don’t have to put up with his lib political views.

Any bets on how long he lasts? Knowing Olby, he won’t be able to keep his big yapper shut and it will be only a short time before he drops some political pearls of wisdom in between baseball analysis. He’s the Nard Dog of the Airwaves...he went to Cornell, you know.

In other news, ratings for baseball on TBS plummet, executives stunned.

I am writing TBS and telling them that this most devisive person is not a good choice to announce the playoffs. I and many others will boycott.

Ugh, that's the first thing I thought as well. (Dennis Eckersley currently works as a studio analyst for the Boston Red Sox at New England Sports Network (NESN) during baseball's regular season.)
I always enjoyed those post-game shows on TBS during the playoffs - they can be funny and entertaining. Not sure I can stand to tune in now that the barf-worthy Olbermann will be part of the crew. :(

Well, he's got nothing else to do in his mother's basement.
