I don’t think they give a damn. What’s the harm done? Obammie fired a temp director who was on his way out. Another director pleads the 5th. They ignore a Senate request for info. They have Obammie, Holder and the whole liberal regime in their hip pockets....
Face it. The IRS is untouchable. Good luck on some GOP congress critters trying to take them down. Ain’t gonna happen.
The deadline that passed was a "request". The next deadline is likely to be via a subpoena. They will face a judge if they fail to respond to that more formal request.
I’ve only seen it once, and I don’t remember it very well.
I should watch it again. I had a copy until recently. My life has changed a bit. My video collection went south...
I don’t think the Senate could count on Justice or any other department under Obama’s thumb to help put pressure on the IRS. I do not believe that the Senate has any “independent” resources to use.

perhaps congress should press forward into a flat tax system just for PERSONAL taxes.
The IRS the EPA, OSCHA, NHTSA, have all been weaponized.
Here’s a novel approach-hold the entire IRS in contempt of congress and lock up every damn employee until they get the info they want from them. Let’s see how they like their rights being taken from them for once.
Maybe a judge like the one that granted Holder’s “request” for wire taps pm James Rosen and his parents!

No problem. Sometimes all you can do is laugh and poke fun at this stuff. No use having a coronary over it. I learned that in the Clinton days. We know it’s wrong. We know it’s worthy of criminal charges, but what can we do about it? In a word, “NOTHING”.
