Looks like Mike Barnicle's not going to let anyone get to his PC-left when it comes to women.
On today's Morning Joe, Barnicle claimed that "a lot of men . . . fear the fact--and I think it's a fact--that women are better balanced than men. They have better judgment about things than a lot of men." Barnicle's comment during a discussion about the statement made yesterday by Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant that the decline in educational outcomes for children today is due to the entry of women into the workforce.

As a female I laugh at him, he obviously knows nothing about estrogen and progesterone. These hormones deeply affect judgment.
Women, ruled by emotions, subject to monthly hormone changes, not to mention the issues of post-partum depression...
Yeah. Sorry Ladies. Love you, but no.
Wasn’t there a recent study that confirmed 40% of women have a mental illness of some kind?
No offense taken.
A lot of the time, I trust my husband’s judgement over mine. He is a cool, analytical thinker. I, on the other hand, am a hothead. Factor in monthly PMS, and it’s Katy bar the door, LOL.
Pure sexist comment in an attempt to “get some” tonight from a real stubborn target.
Barnicle has never seen a Denny’s girl fight video.
It’s sad to see a guy whose never gotten laid express himself.
Truthfully, there is a saying that, “When ladies stand up, gentlemen sit down and listen.” And there is a lot of sense in this.
When men have a conversation with each other, they often jockey for “conversational dominance”, one-upmanship, and the “male answer syndrome” (in which they try to authoritatively answer questions even when they don’t have a clue.) This can be seen with their body language, their inflection, pace and volume of speaking, etc.
If they are to be at a table, men will move their chairs before sitting, rearrange “their stuff” on the table, vie for table space, “ankle-thigh” cross their legs to show their personal territory, etc.
Most men still try to maintain this dominance when there are women *seated* at the table as well. This often ends up with women ignoring what the men are saying, and the men being irritated by what the women are saying.
However, this changes a lot when women stand to speak. “They have the floor”, or feminine dominance, is a strong signal to men to sit there and shut up.
There is probably some very deep biological underpinnings to this, that are not fully explained, but it is very obvious to “people watchers”, who have been studying such things since at least Charles Darwin, who wrote a book about it. (Though Desmond Morris’s “Manwatching” is a very good, well illustrated, modern read for it.)
You know, that really is a problems for Homosexuals, they just do not understand women.
No offense intended, so I’m glad none was taken.
Yes, as Men, out testicles sometimes get us to do things we probably shouldn’t. However, most of the negative repercussions only come about once the Wife finds out what we’ve done... ;-)
LOL....
The most balanced temperament is the phlegmatic temperament. The characteristics of this temperament are more culturally acceptable in women than men.
Better balanced? I thought women were top heavy.
