I will tell you this on the IRS front. I’ve worked in this town for over 20 years in the White House and on Capitol Hill and I can say with a very strong sense of certainty that there are people very close to this president that not only knew what the IRS were doing but authorized it.
It simply just does not happen at an agency level like that without political advisers likely in the West Wing certainly connected to the president’s ongoing campaign organization that didn’t know about it.
Add this to this morning’s little tiff between David Plouffe and the late 1970s version of Darrell Issa, and the White House is already having a terrible, horrible, no good very bad day.
Exactly. This isn’t even a story. Just his gut instinct based upon “strong certainty”.
I’m pretty certain they’ve knew too. There, I’m a reporter! Yippee for me. More money to buy wine.
pjmedia is very well respected, but the ‘bombshell’ is no such thing. It’s just someone’s gut feeling.

First, that someone who views themself as a career public servant and professional (who has a cannon of ethics) found what the IRS is doing as reprehensible.
If they did, then they kept records and turn them over during the investigation. If there is a large enough core of professionals at the IRS, then those that expose the corrupt political process will be protected.
Second, I hope that those in charge of targeting conservative harassment by the IRS, were so arrogant that they were sloppy and left a trail of correspondence that can be traced during an investigation. Hopefully, there will be electronic or written evidence that the White house and the President himself were involved. Not sure anyone would be that sloppy, but we can hope.
What will be telling is what happens at the IRS an apology is not enough, a purge needs to happen to clean up the culture. Hopefully there are a core of professionals who will lead and demand such a purge. Having the IRS non-partisan is about as important as having the military not take sides with or seize power from government.

So.......what else is new??? I hope the pubbies keep the pressure on at just the right pace. I love political death for Obama and his Democrat low life by a thousand small cuts!!! Pubbies, for goodness sake, don’t go overboard. Take it easy....slow and steady as she goes, but never ending. It is taking its toll on Obama, big time. This morning, Rasmussen Reports had Obama at -16 approval, 47% approve of Obama, 52%, disapprove of Obama!!! H ope it keeps heading in that direction!!! The good news is Obama has now become an ongoing, permanent, “Lame Duck” POTUS!!! The old English saying (All the Kings horses, and all the Kings men, couldn’t put “Humpty Dumpty Obama” together again)!!!
Surely, they can't be thinking that the Dragon Lady would have her fingers in this pie. Nah. Not a chance. She was in Chicago when all of this happened. Obama never listens to her anyway. This idea that she is actually the default President of the United States is just all talk. Nothing there. Time to move on.

This entire IRS abuse is against our civil rights to be treated equally under the law. Our nation was not founded to use the IRS machine to unfairly treat us. We don’t want to allow our very government to go down the road of punishing other citizens who we may disagree with politically. We cannot, none of us, can/should allow that this targeting to be appropriate from any group/party. These liberals now complaining that the IRS ordeal is to get the democrats have more loyalty to a party versus treating everyone equally. We see this often. I’ve had enough of these people. Whoever called for this directive needs to be indicted and anyone else who were involved. If they do not do anything, on this IRS abuse, we have loss all respect for the rule of law and constitutional authority.
