And not a moment too soon. That worthless SOB was one of the key players in the ongoing destruction of our fundamental rights.Amen. I feel bad for his family 'cause I know what it feels like to lose parents. But on the level of governing the country, he tried to march us straight into tyranny for his entire term of "service."

Amen. Pry his cold hand from the “Yea Democrat Senate Voter Button”
and drag his stiff liberal ass out of the Senate Chamber and deposit him
on the street with the rest of the DC Trash.

Lautenberg was as much the enemy as any NVA/VC that my generation had to deal with, and I mourn his passing to the same degree that I would mourn the passing of someone shooting at me.

I think that was very generous.
It really is difficult to be gracious toward liberals especially since they never afford the same courtesy to conservatives.

Deletions aplenty on this thread, huh?
Rest in Peace, old Senator.

“I wonder how many decades until hes taken off the voter rolls and stops casting absentee ballots for the democrats.”
Hmmm...I wonder who’ll be off the voter rolls first: Frank L. or Andy Griffin? Guaranteed Andy G. voted for Obama several times last November.

If he doesn't choose a Republican, he'll be forced on us by the RNC or DNC. Actually, doesn't matter which one, because now the RNC IS an arm of the DNC. I have been saying since the Jersey Love-Fest during Sandy he is running... Running as a Democrat in 16', whatever he does will be a FUBAR'd decision in our FR-er world, he will not do anything that will make us happy, unless of course he appoints Col Allen West :-)...

The only Sinator I would have less angst over hearing about his death is Schmuck Schumer.
This might be an apt time to break out and sing the song, "God Bless America"...

Really interested in who Fat Boy is going to appoint.
Someone pleasing to his new-found buddy in DC, probably.
I hope not. But I’m a realist, and it’s Jersey...

Well, for the record we can be pretty nasty too (guilty of it myself at times)... but there ARE people who are grieving over the guy. Same with Specter, Teddy K, etc. Neither of whom I’d ever praise.
Disagree with and fight against the politics and what they’ve done, but at the end of the day it’s God that has the final say.
Death is death. It’s never easy on anyone, and it is the great equalizer in the end. I just hope someone who has a better sense of right and wrong is appointed, regarding people’s rights (but as I said on another post..it IS Jersey, so I’m not optimistic).
He should have known better - he was from the WWII generation and fought against a similar mentality that he supported here.
The shame of it is, he had a chance to do great good in that position, based on what he saw overseas, and squandered it.
