I agree. Anything beyond soft, slushy pea sized hail is something to avoid.
Maybe someone can go out just after the storm, gather up the giant hail, put it in the freezer and sell it on e-Bay to you.

April 10th 1979 an f4 came into Wichita Falls Tx
The tornado came from sw of town and the golf drivin range was in it’s path. The course had a whittled telephone pole shaped like a tee with a massive plastic ball atop . You could see if from anywhere
That pole/ tee was directly hit as the tornado continued into W Falls and killed many
days later a farmer in Tulsa Oklahoma found that hugh golf ball in his pasture
now keep in mind Tulsa is north and east of W Falls by hundreds of miles.
days after the ball was found the Times Record News paper had a front page headline

I think they’re nuts, but RIP anyway. Lots of people die doing stuff they know can kill them, but it’s their life, not mine.
The first thing you learn in tornado country is “Tornados can change direction unexpectedly. Never try to outrun a tornado”.
These guys have to be right every time. The tornado only has to be right once.
