In their letter, Mr. Goodlatte and Mr. Sensenbrenner asked Mr. Cole to document what day Mr. Holder had recused himself from the investigation; to explain how Mr. Cole learned of the recusal; to say whether Mr. Holder had specifically told Mr. Cole of his intent to recuse himself from the inquiry; and to say whether the recusal was made in writing or memorialized in any manner.

I’m guessing that Mr. Cole is very seriously thinking of “lawyering-up” to figure out just how he can to respond to questions regarding ‘recusals’ that weren’t actually made.
This is their strategy.
Put up a web of legal cobwebs that could
take years to get through.
I recused myself from this case before I didn’t recuse myself.
If so, that would be felony #2.

The US Congress may have not noticed yet, but
THE PEOPLE are upset about the IRS and ObamaCARE
and their treason.
The first I heard of the deadline being broken was on the Sunday Fox News show. I tried to look up the story on the web to read more about it and could not find one article or blog about missing the deadline.
I am baffled as to why this is not a story even on conservative blogs. withHOLDER’s biggest out for the AP story throughout has been his non-recusal recusal.
Haa, haa...
Unless there are consequences enforced by Congress, each deadline and sanction that is waived off by the DOJ just furthers the goal of making Congress a Potemkin Village assembly that is subservient to the lawless Obama regime.
Why would the administration comply with any law....when they think themselves above the law ?
Laws are only for the little people and republicans..

Exactly. The Dems have calculated the GOP won’t actually DO anything about any of this but flap their gums. So they stall, misdirect, stall some more, etc.
Our problem is the beltway GOP are still terrified of directly engaging the Kenyan.
This is all Obama Admin malfeasance. The proper plan is to deal directly with the WH. It’s their problem and they need to fix it.The POTUS manages the executive branch. It’s not Congresses job to get Obama Admin officials to do their job.
Put Obama on notice that if he can’t manage it, Congress won’t be funding it.
You couldn’t come up with a picture of Holder holding a severed head in one hand and a machete in the other with blood splattered all over him and saying THAT’S RACIST, IT’S A REPUBLICAN ATTACK AGAINST THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION, I DIDN’T KILL ANYONE, YOU HAVE NO PROOF OF THAT.
Yeah, right. Go look in the mirror and investigate yourself.

Still while this was not expected, I want every Republican in a debate on the shows to stress that Justice refused to comply to questions about the AP recusal. Every talking head and every democrat says withHOlDER gets a pass since he recused himself. The response needs to be, “That is a bald face lie and Justice refuses to answer questions about the recusal. His assistant refuses to answer any questions about the recusal.” I know I live in a dream world and his dark pigmentation is the new Teflon.
